A dear family friend used to make the BEST strawberry-rhubarb pie. Grew the rhubarb in the backyard! Crust from scratch too!

I like strawberry pie minus rhubarb, but plain strawberry pie with loads of whipped cream would be wonderful!

Oh, for sure. Rhubarb is definitely an acquired taste, plus the amount used in the pie has to be perfect. I think my dad was surprised that I liked it as a kid (I guess I was 8? 9?).
