I always hear “Missus huhwhiggins” in Tim Conway’s voice in my mind. :face_with_tears_of_joy:

Hey, don’t you know we’ve got an inflation problem? I’ll give you 20 bucks.

Don’t remember how many years ago now (edit - apparently 9), but she lost a bunch of weight before her wedding and she looked beautiful! I always feel badly for people who do that and then gain it back.

This may be a repeat, but I have mixed emotions about Jeanne Bice. I started watching QVC when she was selling embroidered items and cute button covers. I admire her salesmanship and business acumen.

However, as time (and perhaps age and health issues?) went on, she became more cranky and opinionated on air. I grew tired of her. It was almost like she became a caricature of herself.

It was sad how both she and her daughter died so close together.

Angel was a welcome respite at the time. I too grow tired of the “hushed tones of reverence” for all things Jeanne. It may be a requirement of the job?!:slightly_frowning_face:

I can say that most of the products I have bought were good quality. They feature way too many sequins and shiny adornments for my taste now, but some women like that.

just saw this at TJ M same price

:sad_but_relieved_face: :sad_but_relieved_face: :sad_but_relieved_face: Jeanne lived privately with her cancer diagnosis, surgery, and chemo treatments as long as she possibly could. Must have been very difficult when it reached the point where she had to open up and share it with others, especially knowing what the inevitable outcome would be. Her life story is very inspiring and I admire her for her strength and resilience. I don’t know how I would manage if I were in her shoes, her husband passing away suddenly at the age of 42, and having to face the responsibility of raising her children alone when she was left with virtually nothing. Great Lady and a wonderful Mom.

I remember when she was blowing off her over sized mouth saying if you’re stressed out and angry just kick your dog. I couldn’t stand her for several reasons but that comment made me hate her.

I remember when she threw a tantrum about people talking about how bad the economy was. I’m sorry she died, but she was a shrew .

Sorry about her medical condition, nonetheless I thought she was just very coarse and obnoxious. Jmo

When I see presentations like this, I thank sweet Jesus that I got over my addiction to small leather goods. For somebody to charge $89 for this is ballsy, let alone the original price of $148. I don’t care whose name is on it.

Made to carry postcards I guess. #Rebecca Minkoff

Rastelli’s offerings:
Hamburgers - $19.25/lb

Marinated sirloin - $30/lb

Short ribs (pre-cooked) - $50/lb

Who?!?

Won’t be tariffs that kill this outfit, it’ll be bean counters with fat thumbs and short-sightedness.
