I really miss the wool area rugs they used to sell. They were excellent quality, and I still have a large one in my living room. I would buy a larger one if they still sold them.
I finally gave away a couple Maxx bags last year when we moved! I liked the lightweight poly/fabric(?) bags. The owner, Cheri ( I think), was always so pleasant on air. Really enjoyed her.
I think I finally succumbed to a Van Zeeland bag once, but I didnāt care for all the jangly stuff she had hanging from most of her bags.
Sorry to hear she and her husband divorced, though.
I never bought a Van Zeeland bag because of all those jangly things hanging off them, lol. I did buy a couple of B Makowski bags, though. I still have one - a glove-soft taupe clutch bag thatās just gorgeous. Itās not really practical, but itās so pretty that I continue to hang onto it.
Maxx NY bags remind me of a story that happened to me years ago. I was at the pediatric dentist with my son, and who walks into the waiting room but Blabby and the 2 Blabettes, the youngest was an infant and the other 4 or 5. I was surprised to see her, but did not want to engage with her. The waiting room was full but quiet, and I didnāt need everyone to know I was a QVC shopper and have Jane start her blabbing. She sat down right next to me, and on my lap was my Maxx NY bag and I noticed she was carrying the exact same bag, same color. I knew if she saw my bag it would get her going, so I did everything I could to conceal it. When she was distracted with the kids I was able to put it under my seat, and she was never the wiser.
Kim gravel is really gaining back her weight
I remember Marshalls and TJMaxx had a lot of Makowsky bags. They priced them at $39,99, I never cared for them enough to buy one but I did buy a Tignanello bag that was about double the price. I loved that bag but though the leather was nice the trim wasnāt and it peeled. I havenāt seen these bags at TJX for a while.
QVC posted a lame video in the Over 50 FB group of Alberti and Rachel doing various little routines with the Rockettes - or West Chesterās version of the Rockettes. Alberti was in his glory, reliving his days on stage as an Albanian pop star. The dancer to the right of Rachel looks like she smelled something bad.
Just when I think their self esteem canāt get any lowerā¦
The internet is forever, folks.
Here we go: Blabs and Kim prancing around making complete idiots of themselves. Am I supposed to get excited about this kindergarten pandering? Same old polyester crappy throws, clothesā¦ā¦ Embarrassing and frankly insulting to us customers ( or should I say āused to be customersā)
I turned them on for a minute and couldnāt stand it. Childish and their screeching voices are too much. I used to be able to have QVC on if I was bored or needed some background noise. Now I often find it hard to watch.
Since Iāve been watching more of late (for reasons I cannot explain), Iām truly stunned at how often they are re-airing shows. With or without the on-screen disclaimer about pricing differences, itās absurd to me that they endlessly brag about a price and free shipping, when the item is much more expensive and with no free shipping in real time.
I am shocked Kim is not also selling that elf costume she has on in this show Could easy be a QVC TSVā¦
Holy crap! I canāt believe this. I canāt unsee it!!
I succumbed to the Diamonique big deal line bracelet in the smallest 4mm marquise shape. Canāt wait to see it.
Iām surprised Blabby didnāt have the elf costume on.
i have a small stone DMQ bracelet good piece
Very cool bling! I hope itās great.
I bought a 14k gold Diamonique tennis bracelet many years ago from QVC back in the good old days when their CZ collection was set in gold with generous weighty settings. Itās still in excellent condition as are the other Diamonique rings and earrings I bought. I still wear one 14k Gold eternity band snugged up against a wonderful Real Diamond band my Family bought me for a ābigā birthday. Incredible quality. Go figure.
You got Diamonique treasures in 14k! Those 14k pieces are selling for exorbitant amounts on the second hand market.
Thank you @MidwestCrabby - the reviews are a little dicey but hopefully I get a good one.
@lilygilder you canāt go wrong with a classic Diamonique line bracelet.
