What are your thoughts on QVC’s move to TikTok?
Since they announced this, I’ve watched once or twice for a few minutes. Right now they’re selling Dooney & Bourke, 373 viewers, only 2 of which are actually viewing the item.
There’s no way this saves them, and I’m not sure why they continue this charade. How much are they paying these TikTok hosts?
Anyone else as confused as I am? 
It strikes me as a miss considering what I perceive as their target audience.
I think it is a major miss because they are still trying to appeal to a demographic they will never have. I have never knowingly watched anything on TikTok and won’t. I agree @UglyBetty, this won’t save them. The REAL demographic they have now won’t go to TikTok and the TikTok group won’t find anything to buy that interests them. The only things they will find on TT are bad videos of hosts acting stupid or doing Nasty Cat dances.
They’re really out of touch with these prices. I don’t see many TikTok users spending $250 on a whim. I only downloaded it to check out QVC. The other TikToks I’ve seen are horrifying. How are these people not embarrassed or ashamed? They do all this for 50 likes? Kerstin would love it!
