Oh brother. I only like “happy” Halloween things, but I know some people are really into it.
I was going to say that as July 4th arrives, we can expect to be seeing more “transitional” clothing on QVC. Although, they have been showing long sleeves all year long!

The Pottery Barn Halloween Shop has been up for over a month.
I’ve seen a few Back to School commercials already. The Walmart one with Walton Goggins is pretty funny.

Okay, I prefer to eat my crow warm. The second Dyson that was sent to replace the one that hasn’t shown up in almost 4 weeks arrived today. The stand was easy to assemble, and turned out to be the best part of this whole experience. (I really like this stand alot). Everything was packed very well. I went to put an attachment in the motor head, and it would not fit. I finally shoved it in, and then I could not remove it. The red release button either on the attachment or on the motor head is defective. Unfortunately, it was the long pole that is used to vacuum the floor. It took me almost 30 minutes to pry the pole out of the motor head so I could send it back. I was afraid to try one of the smaller attachments, but it was useless if the part that is used most can’t be removed. The customer service rep was very nice, and even gave me a $15 credit on my account (whoopie!). But she was trying to help me out. UPS will come to pick it up for free. The first order is still AWOL. I have purchased 3 Dyson vacs from them, and 2 fan/heaters, and they have all been sturdy and worked very well. Of course, these purchases were made when the Q in QVC really did stand for QUALITY. This V12 seemed very lightweight, and apparently was not made well at all. All the parts went back into the boxes–some parts not in the correct box, but everything is in a box. I have a whole heap of little cardboard pieces that were packing for the attachments and parts. They are getting the parts back, just not in the individual wrapping. I’m over this for today! Now I’m wondering if Dyson just makes cheap stuff for the Q, or if the quality of the entire company is going downhill. I am certainly going to be looking at other brands in the future.

LOL I ordered them yesterday, in blue. To me, they’re kind of funky cute. But then I wear Birkenstock sandals all summer, so there’s that. I’ll report back when I try them.

I went back and pulled up the Philosophy presentation with Skunks and the new OAP. Shawn basically hijacked the presentation, because of her love affair with body wash, yet she hates showering! The OAP just stood there comatose, actually looking like someone pulled from the audience to guest host. Just when you think things can’t get any worse …
Look at the glasses … Could the OAP be Shawn’s aunt?

You got a good deal on them. I’m interested in the black pair but my size is gone in all colors. I guess I could waitlist. I’m in my Birkenstocks all summer too, it’s the one sandal that never goes out of style.

ETA - nevermind - I saw the link above and got the navy ones. I couldn’t decide between the navy and cognac. I have some JBU shoes very similar in red. I got those in the wrong size even because it was all they had and I had to get them!!!
