QVC Live Discussion (Part 1)

Thanks for the Crispi info!

I’m very intrigued but figured it’s available elsewhere. Any kitchen gizmo that plugs in gets my attention.

Does anyone have experience with it?

why is Diva hovering over Rachel when she is to fake an orgasm over the marshmallows, it was really weird

I saw him once in the last couple weeks act what I thought, was inappropriate with a female. I think it was a brand rep but I don’t recall who it was. He came behind her put his arms on either side of her, I can’t recall why, but I just remember thinking at the time that it just really didn’t look good. it’s almost like he’s trying to prove something that isn’t.

is it me or is he acting odd lately

I don’t think it’s you. I don’t know when it started because I haven’t been faithful watcher, but I’ve mentioned how his speech patterns are weird, he jumbles all his words together at times, and now it seems as if he’s flirting with women. I don’t know what’s going on. Maybe he’s trying to bat from both sides of the plate? Make a partner jealous? Or he could just be organically losing his chit.

I miss my favorite QVC Stoner Hippy chick, Josie Maran. She was smart to get out, but I miss her.

   I purchased this countertop convection oven, now called an air fryer, at least 20+ years ago, on sale for $39.99. Still works, large enough to cook a whole chicken or a turkey breast, works just as well for smaller amounts of food. And I do like being able to see the progress of the food as it’s cooking … no need to lift the lid. The design might be a bit clumsy for some, but it’s not an issue for me. :joy: I was air frying long before it had a designated title!

That’s EXACTLY what I was trying to remember the name of. I had one, but it never worked right for me, but I do remember sharing with my friend’s father (we are both kitchen gadget junkies) how to clean it by putting in dish soap, turning it on and letting it spin itself clean.

ETA - Seriously, did Dyson purchase QVC? It’s bad enough to have kitchen shows interrupted multiple times for 30-minute presentations of a TSV vacuum, but now we have the fan?

So, Useless Rachel didn’t like the fresh croissants in Paris, but preferred the baked from frozen croissants supposedly from Paris? I don’t mean to be so hard on her, she seems sweet, but just too perky and eager, and useless.

:hear_no_evil_monkey: :hear_no_evil_monkey: :hear_no_evil_monkey: Go figure … We just had four hours of “In the Kitchen with David & Dyson” only to be followed by another hour of Dyson.

Some find Dyson rather dull by comparison …

Those croissants are actually really good. If they weren’t so expensive I would get them more often. But the idea that they are better than fresh ones in a Paris bakery is nonsense.

Yes, those croissants are delicious. However, I stopped buying them a while ago because the price just kept going up and up to the point where it was ridiculous. I do miss them, but refuse to pay what they’re charging for them.

Whole Foods has some great mini croissants that you bake at home.

Save $250, pay your grandkid $10, 25 times mind you, to shlep yor $50 wagon around the yard. Who do these people think their customers are? Little old ladies on Social Security (raises hand) aren’t parting with $300 bones for a yard wagon, and TikTok’rs can’t even afford a yard ffs.

Yeah, TikTok will fix everything.

I’m interested in the Ninja Crispi, though I’m a bit confused by the sales pitch of taking the whole device to work to reheat your lunch, as it weighs 15 pounds and seems really inconvenient to lug it around. But I like the idea of glass as I find my traditional air fryer difficult to get as clean as I want it.

I was intrigued by the Ninja Crispi as well, but had to head out during its presentation before I had a chance to order it. Having a glass pan was a big selling point.

The two bottle holders alone are worth the price!!

Purchase the wagon mentioned above and you won’t have to lug the Ninja Crispi at all. Just remember to change the name of the wagon from Cruiser Cart to Crispi Cart and you’re golden.

I immediately noticed how his head is projecting straight out more than before. His shoulders are hunched more, also. This stooping has progressed a lot in the last year. I hope he is seeing a good doctor. Some of his speech and forgetfulness may be due to meds for arthritis and pain. He just does not look well to me, and the worsening posture is making things worse. It is hard for me to watch him anymore.

This may not be the right place to post this but I just bought a bunch of makeup items from Laura Geller at several different Ross stores here in San Diego at ridiculously low prices. Just in case anyone is interested :woman_shrugging:

I think it’s fine to post it here, but there is a Non-TV Shopping thread for future reference.
