If you’ve ever watched a Kim Gravel show, you’ve probably heard her say “modal is money”. They’re presenting the most basic looking slub knit tank top right now for $39 with Kim of course proclaiming that it’s 60% cotton/40% modal!!

I recently picked up a few of these tank tops from Kohl’s for $12.99 with a 40% coupon, so $7.79 each and guess what the “fabrication” is? If you guessed 60% cotton/40% modal, you’d be right:

I have and like some Kim Gravel items. I never have luck with her tops looking right on me, but her sweaters are nice. But now, to me, her stuff all looks the same. I haven’t bought anything from her line for quite a while now. I did buy 2 items from SG yesterday - the lace dress that Sandra was wearing and the floral printed duster.

I liked this Gravel dress from this photo. The fabric looked like it had substance, so hopefully not clingy. I have a big waist so I don’t do “waist emphasis” styles. I’m never too sure how balloon-y these style will look on me.

I went online to look. It is princess-style, which is supposed to flatter shapes like mine, but I don’t like those Princess seams going down my bust.

Also, what’s with all the gold-toned hardware lately? Hmph.
