QVC Live Discussion (Part 1)

I miss Josie too. Her show was fun to watch. I always wanted to see what she was wearing. She found so many ways to get away with almost showing her bosom, lol.

The Alberti doll is for real? I thought it was a joke!

It’s an internet thing. I’ve seen a lot of this on Instagram. It doesn’t even remotely look like him.

Pat James and doctor Denese doing skin care presentations is the. stuff of comedy gold.

 :rolling_on_the_floor_laughing:  Alberti would never be seen in baggy white shorts. He likes to show off his :wrapped_gift: package.

You can create your own “Barbie” doll image with a variety of AI tools.

I saw it done by the hosts of a local TV show, New York Live.

Notice that Alberti included a Dyson and storage boxes as accessories!

He also included hair and good looks.

:face_with_medical_mask: :face_with_head_bandage: :face_with_medical_mask: Looks as though Alberti had knee replacement surgery.

 He has way better legs than his former SMQ sidekick, Reverend Kerstin.

Yeah, Alberti only wishes his hair looked like that.

In March, I bought a tube of Sunday Riley’s Ceramic Slip from QVC. I have been using it (and several other products from that line) for probably two years.I used up the rest of what I had, so probably at least a month went by before I needed to use it. When I opened it, I noticed that it looked different and smelled off. I used it that night and noticed that it was not rinsing off very well. The next morning, my face felt “oily.” I used it one more time, then switched to a travel sized tube until I bought a new one at Ulta.

When I sent a quick email to the Sunday Riley site, I got am email telling me that it was "a natural color and scent variation that doesn’t affect performance, " and that I should “have a good evening,” Except it did affect the performance of the product, just as I told them. I notified QVC, who told me that 30 days had elapsed since the purchase was made, so I should contact Sunday Riley directly. :face_with_raised_eyebrow: I currently have at least $350-$400 of Sunday Riley products sitting on my bathroom countertop. Done buying it going forward.

have noticed that Q is becoming very price conscious and skirts around the tariffs by name but is aware that people are not ordering as much the hosts have been prepared to sell with that in mind

I’ve heard a number of them say things like “We all watch the news”, "We all know what’s going on… "

I guess the idea is to get you to buy right now while they have stuff in the warehouse.

Shopping channels rarely invite real world news into the studio.

just out of curiosity, I was flipping channels last night and hopped on shop LC… they talked about the tariffs.. used that language and how it is and will affect prices. remember how QVC wouldn’t use the word COVID?? stupid.

Couldn’t sleep last night so was flipping channels and came across a spot highlighting this new campaign to introduce lower prices from Denim and Co.

Some of the prices seem much more reasonable than what they’ve been lately.

   Is this a QVC Late Night Confession? … They’re finally coming clean and admitting that they HAVE been ripping customers off with inflated prices, poor quality, outrageous shipping fees and return policies?
