I have one of those chic beauties stashed in the back of my closet. Four years ago, I fractured my arm, and the hospital sent me home in the gown so no one had to struggle getting my long sleeve tee over my cast. It actually came in handy when no one was home to help me, but I donāt know why itās still here. My Mom hung on to everything, but Iāve thankfully become a minimalist when it comes to things I donāt need around the house.

Iām still genuinely confused about this TikTok strategy. I use TikTok and the algorithm feeds me QVCās livestream from time to time. The most viewers Iāve ever seen was about 140, itās usually more like 70-90. Like someone else said, major influencers will have thousands. Also, the TikTok ban issue is still not technically resolved, the 75 day extension is up in a few days (though I donāt think it will actually go offline again). It just seems like an incredibly shaky strategy to move their business forward. Not to mention the āage of possibilityā that theyāve been pushing for the past year when Tiktokās main demographic is much younger.
Theyāre doing everything except what people really want - lower prices, better quality items, faster shipping times, and easier returns.
I think they are hoping to reach a younger demographic with TikTok, and/or itās a cheaper way to sell?
@OhMyHeavens i am a 78 yr old female. I use SM i.e. IG, FB, Reddit. Not planning to use TikTok, imost of it is silly stuff. If/when i buy from QVC, which is seldom, i can do it on line. I have friends my age who donāt even have a smart phone, they call QVC when they want to order.

You would have to work awfully hard to convince me to buy a wearable data mining device in the form of a ring as opposed to something I can put on my wrist. If I gain or lose 5 or 10 lbs, guess what? My $500 ring doesnāt fit anymore.

I just tuned in to a close up of PTR and YIKES! The dyed hair and beard (probably eyebrows too), he looks ridiculous. No one will be fooled into thinking he looks 30 years younger!
Maybe too off topicā¦ I remember the Dick van Dyke Show flashback when he was a DJ trying to break a marathon recordā¦ hilarious when he started going stir crazy after several hours.

Steve Bryant got stuck on air during a storm bad when no one could get to the studio. He was on for over 10 hours straight and was still doing well when finally someone arrived to relieve him. He looked very grateful.
For many years now I have felt like PTRās facial scruff is possibly tattooed? I donāt know how else youād do it, but thereās no way his hair is black at this age, and I donāt know how you would color stubble. Enlighten me.

I watched about 45 minutes of Vanessaās Explore Your Style show. I find it hard to believe that she used to be a reporter. She pronounces anything ending in āernā like a third syllable. So it is āmod-er-in,ā ānor-ther-in,ā āsouth-er-in.ā This is not a regional dialect. Itās a mispronunciation. She also didnāt know how to pronounce āMallorca,ā which was a color name for a pair of NYDJ jeans. She seems like a pleasant person and far less annoying than most of the other QVC presenters, but her speaking skills donāt give off the vibe of someone whose background is in communication.
I had sort of expected that after she had the baby, she would trim back the talons (which, Iāve read, are not in fashion any more - a shorter and less āvividā look is in now). But I saw today that she still has the very long, very ornate manicure. I donāt know how women with those long nails prevent shish-kebabing their babies!
