We’re doing grocery shopping & prescription pickup today, and on the way home stopping for a take out order at one of our local restaurants. There is nothing like the real thing

Same! I often say I probably have 100+ good Mexican restaurants within a 10-mile radius. There’s a great one at the end of my block! Authentic and independent with all the good stuff.

Happy Pet Day! Our pets are from our local animal shelter. We spoil them, but they deserve lots of love and treats considering the neglect and abuse they endured in the past.

My dear friends fostered a young pregnant cat 10 years ago. I don’t know if she was a stray or what - but she didn’t belong to anyone yet didn’t seem feral.
We adopted one of the kittens, Melisandre. Her 3 siblings and the mom all found good homes too. Here she is after putting herself in time out for reasons known only to her.
Not happy with me for being about to go on a business trip. Hard to see but she’s sitting on top of my suitcase.

Greeting, my lovelies. On MONDAY APRIL 13TH … It’s 73° with winds gusting up to 55 MPH, and it’s gonna storm like a b*tch, but I had a great yearly checkup & blood work this morning with my doctor, so on this NATIONAL PEACH COBBLER DAY, I am most definitely going to reward myself!
