Here we go again. Defending @BATSHIT for moronic trumpster is your idea of facts and evidence.
This is my point. Not about gays or woke it’s about what she posted. Talk about Tone Deaf🤣

Talk about delusional.
I have removed your nasty comments about me. The fact that you’d go so low speaks volumes about your character.
Your time here is done.
Good bye.
In the future, ALL political comments will be deleted. I will not tolerate this nonsense anymore. This is supposed to be a fun place. There are plenty of sites to express your political views. I feel sorry for anyone who confuses politics for personality.
I’m sorry for getting caught up in this, but this is not the place for derogatory comments towards any race, religion, sexual orientation, gender, whatever. It’s just not the place.
It is hateful and there is no explaining it away !
I could care less if they’re gay or not. There’s just too many male hosts and guests. And all the other hosts are getting older by the day. I loved the youthful, energetic vibe QVC used to have. Now it’s a channel dedicated to the Geritol Generation. lol. Personally, I think who ever runs the channel [and HSN] knows this and knows the channels are soon to be no more and has given up caring.
some of the guys are better at selling clothing etc vs. women who are focused on where/when to wear the item
Unfortunately, I doubt QVC will ever be what it once was.
There is no professionalism anymore and management is clueless.
Despite what those at the top may believe, the problem does not lie in the stars or changing market/demographic dynamics but within themselves.
Why Can’t We All Just Get Along?
I’ve often wondered if anyone in management has media experience beyond the local news.
They blame demographic shifts, but have done nothing to appeal to a younger audience, most of whom rightfully think QVC is a joke.
I really think incorporating more humor and showing they’re in on the joke would go a long way towards engaging the younger audience. I could see self-deprecating skits (aired between segments) going viral on Tik Tok. Pair that with some competitively priced products young people want to buy, and they at least have a chance. Perhaps bringing on up-and-coming comedians as guest hosts.
As it stands, they’re incapable of laughing at themselves. The hosts’ smiles are more forced by the day, and NO ONE seems happy to be there with the constant vacations and talk of leaving town.
Like someone mentioned earlier, I hope the relocated HSN employees are looking for rentals, because I don’t see this charade continuing much longer.
You’re hired! Brilliant!
Do you remember when there was that short-lived shopping channel show on recently? Not UnReal (that one was wonderful at first), but a more recent one where the main hosts were clearly depicting Blabs and CoKo. Blabs kept going on and on about how she is being portrayed - in a good way. They were both clearly ecstatic that a show about HER was on TV and it was wonderfull. So, they do not even begin to know how to laugh at themselves and what they have become. Sad.
I think the show is called “I Love That For You” starring Vanessa Bayer from SNL fame. Thanks for the reminder, I wanted to watch but didn’t have the subscription for the platform it was on. Its still for buy/rent, so I’ll wait until it’s free.
It was on Showtime. They cancelled it with several other shows in a cost cutting measure when they merged with Paramount.
it was a cute show but I doubt if a 2nd season was necessary
I loved that show. There was DEFINITELY a Courtney character (big hair, nose job, super vacuous) and a David character (Southern, Mama-lovin’, apron-wearing, closeted). I felt like the Jackie character was a mashup of Jane and Bobbie Ray from HSN.
I’m not good at catching screen shots, but Mary in that temp tations apron, ankle pants, and tennis shoes is worthy of the fashion poll. Plus it took me back to Mrs Roberts’ 8th grade home ec class. That’s not a good thing.
You could use a cardboard cutout of Courtney standing there and the ‘‘personality’’ would be the same. lol.
Happened across these, older discussions, mostly disgruntled current and former employees.
I’m not surprised at the remarks. The Q loves anything with nasty, vile behavior and then rewards customers who made racial slurs? If they tank, I won’t feel for them.
This sorry excuse for a company deserves to go under.
Customer service jobs are very difficult. Imagine being yelled at ALL DAY by customers who don’t hesitate to blurt out obscenities, insults, or otherwise offensive comments. The back to back calls mentioned are a result of the layoffs. How would you like being called a ***** ***** ******* and then being FORCED to move on to the next call and pretend to be happy. If you don’t move on to the next call right away, you’re written up for call avoidance, and meanwhile you’re trying not to have a mental breakdown.
It’s a MISERABLE job, and I feel so sorry for anyone who works there. Seeing as most of their customers are “of a certain age,” it’s definitely worse than other call centers. I’ve worked with customers/clients for years, and the worst ones are almost always of retirement age. The out of control entitlement, using manipulation tactics that haven’t been relevant for 50 years (really, you think a giant company cares about your loyalty?)
making irrelevant political comments trying to goad you into an argument, and then resorting to name calling and racist/sexist remarks. ![]()
Please be kind to customer service reps. Even in the US, they are paid very poorly to be verbally abused all day, not just by customers, but by management as well. Many develop mental health and substance abuse problems to cope. It’s dehumanizing beyond measure.
Technology has become increasingly helpful in the customer service experience as far as a me the consumer. I love the online chat because I don’t have to talk directly with an agent. They’re usually so helpful because it’s a great barrier to dealing with grievances in a polite way. You’re able to think things through before typing it out where verbally it’s harder for someone like me who can’t think on her feet. If you do the FB qvc customer service chat you’re able to send pictures of the merchandise in question. But I agree it must be awful dealing with disgruntled customers all day long.
