The phrase a moronic statement by a Trumper is singling out the poster and making a political comment that Trump supporters are moronic and implies they dislike gays. Batshit is lumping a whole group of people as one.

That’s who it was. Amy called her Steven and said “he” multiple times. The other OAP looked uncomfortable whenever she said that. I don’t know if Stefani is trans, was just assuming based on the reaction.

My issue is with @BATSHIT calling the poster a moronic trumpster because she had issues with so many gays on QVC. That’s all. I don’t care who QVC hires, I have an issue with a poster bashing another poster.

@BATSHIT was not referencing the gay comment. Their post was in response to this post from November 2024.
You can see the direct reply to the right of @BATSHIT’s username. I still don’t condone the political reference, but I see no issue with calling a phrase moronic. Isn’t that kind of what we do here? “Oh my goodness gracious.” “Oh good lord almighty.” “Happy dance!” “I have one in every color.” “Ginny was a nutritionist.”
The first person who directly responded to the gay comment was ME.
@BATSHIT directly responded as well, but with a tongue in cheek sarcastic remark. They never called the other poster a moron.
Let’s stay away from politics (no more Trumper comments) but you can’t be so sensitive with someone’s interpretation of a wildly overused phrase that’s essentially become a substitute for outright racism/homophobia.
So we can’t let it go then and move on.
