Mary Beth finished her show tonight right before ITKWD by saying she’d be on tomorrow night’s Thank Q Customer Appreciation show. She said that right before 10pm Thursday night, “I’ve got something to tell you.”

I really hesitated to even post this. It could be something really stupid but she did make it sound like it would be a personal announcement

I wouldn’t be surprised if she’ll reveal she’s retiring sometime this year. Who knows, maybe she just wants to tell us she’s having begels and french bread pizza this weekend and her world has been rocked.

I had on the last half hour of Gourmet Holiday with Rick and Julia when Mary Beth came on to promote her show. She also made a point to say that she would be on tomorrow night with Rick and that they would be chatting… and then added, “Well, five minutes before the show.” Rick seemed to know what she was referring to and lowered his head in a solemn way. Didn’t give it much thought until your post @Tuxedo. Maybe it is an announcement?

I saw both Rick and Mary Beth say this.

I first thought she would announce her retirement, but maybe it’s just Free Shipping during their 4 hour show!

I also thought free shipping at first. However, the Thank Q show is 8 to midnight, and she’s sharing her news halfway through, around 9:55pm ET.
I think if it was free shipping they’d be yelling about it at the start.

Maybe after Christmas in July?

I doubt she’d stay through the year if she’s announcing this early.

It could be that’s her personal age number retirement goal.

Most likely her reason won’t make any sense to us.

Sounds like retirement to me. Good for her - she needs the rest! I generally avoid any show with Rick or Jane or Skunk or Kerselfish, so I will look here later this evening to see the comments.
