Dyson TSV tomorrow. Oh goody, that’s different.
I love my Dyson vac and dryer but there is a TS every month

Now that Shawn has her new fake hair headband, she can spend even less time on her hair than she normally does.
I was thinking exactly the same thing!
I would sleep during the day and then sit in the dark and alternate watching the goings on outside and good drama on TV. I’m in
She was on with a new brand, you guys featured the new person already (she’s tall so I"m very jealous LOL!). The item I watched was a caftan. New rep, new brand, new item. What does the idiot host do? she puts caftan on over her outfit and spends the next ten minutes adjusting, interrupting the brand rep/owner to talk about adjusting and get this. The caftan idea even represents the REASON she invented it. To stay cool and wick heat when hot flashes occur. Regardless of what Skunk things about that, she proceeds to mention several times why she likes it, because it’s fashion forward and she can belt and maneuver it into a real dress. So instead of having a shirt to tie and hide the details like she always does she resorted to this. I have no idea why the rep didn’t just walk off the stage. I know I wanted to give skunk the hook. Kudos to any of you who can actually watch her.
I love Rick so hopefully no (though I’d understand if he wanted to after all this time). But the praying hands I added are for you to be right about the other one. Not holding my breath though
“My Time With Shawn” averages three to five minutes. Then it takes hours to recover, and go back for more self inflicted punishment.
It’s Lent … I’ll consider it my penance.
When you said sitting in the dark watching the view it reminded me about when I had my mom in an assisted living near downtown LA called Sakura Gardens. It was geared towards Japanese lifestyle for the elderly (my mom’s Japanese). Anyways she had a killer view of downtown, also the Hollywood sign off in the distance. Granted the freeway was right next to her window she couldn’t hear it because her hearing was so bad. But I loved her view.
To make matters worse, she was in the plus size topper at the start of the show…looking ridiculous swimming in all that fabric. How is looking like that helping sell the garment?
@SuperElevated
Okay @artisto - let me have it
So…nutritionally, frozen and fresh vegetables are almost identical…
I used grok again to make sure my info about the best foods to buy organic is correct:
From grok:
When deciding which foods to buy organic, it’s about minimizing exposure to pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, and GMOs while weighing cost and practicality. Some foods are more prone to contamination or have higher pesticide residues, so they’re often recommended as organic choices. Here’s a breakdown based on what’s known about farming practices and residue data:
Strawberries - These consistently top the “Dirty Dozen” list (from the Environmental Working Group’s analysis of USDA data) because they’re heavily sprayed with pesticides like fungicides. Their thin skin means you’re eating what’s on the surface.
Spinach - Leafy greens like spinach often carry high pesticide levels, including chemicals like permethrin, which can linger even after washing. Organic cuts that risk.
Apples - Another Dirty Dozen regular, apples are treated with pesticides and waxes. Their skin, where nutrients sit, is also where residues concentrate. Peeling helps, but organic avoids the issue.
Peaches/Nectarines - Soft, thin-skinned fruits like these absorb pesticides easily and rank high for residue detection. Organic is a safer bet if you eat the skin.
Grapes - Often treated with multiple pesticides (sometimes over a dozen types), grapes can carry residues that washing doesn’t fully remove. Imported ones can be worse.
Tomatoes - While not always the dirtiest, conventionally grown tomatoes can have pesticide residues, especially if they’re hothouse-grown or imported. Organic also avoids synthetic ripening agents.
Potatoes - These absorb pesticides and fungicides from soil, like chlorpropham, which sticks around post-harvest. Organic reduces that exposure.
Dairy (Milk, Cheese, Butter) - Non-organic dairy can contain residues of antibiotics, hormones (like rBGH), and pesticides from the cows’ feed. Organic dairy rules out those extras.
Meat (Beef, Chicken, Pork) - Conventional livestock often get antibiotics and hormones, and their feed (like corn or soy) may be pesticide-laden. Organic meat comes from animals raised without that stuff and on organic feed.
Eggs - Similar to meat, conventional eggs can reflect the hen’s exposure to pesticides via feed. Organic eggs come from hens fed organic, non-GMO diets.
Also, aflatoxins need to be looked at; peanuts…corn…are just a couple…
She’s just ridiculous. It can’t help to sell garments at all.
@ParadeofRoses that view sounds heavenly and I can only imagine how much it pleased your Mom. It’s nice, since I live in the frozen tundra, to see trees with leaves on them! So thanks for that too
Great information, thank you! Now all I need to do is marry a rapper so I can afford to eat organic. #RealTalk
Sometimes the scheduling of hosts just makes no sense to me.
David is doing 3 hours and then Janie comes in for the final hour of ITKWD.
Why not just give the final hour to Rachel Ellis. Surely at this point she can handle it.
Janie’s contract about her required airtime must be something!
Why can’t Diva just do the 4 hours?
Diva said he was coming back at 4 pm to do Keeping it Clean with Diva (probably an hour of the TSV, bleh). He probably needs a break to use the “little hosts’ room” as he calls it.
As to why Rachel can’t do the last hour, I don’t know. She’s certainly capable. Maybe she has a scheduling conflict ? The only other reason I can think of is they want her to keep the online chat going ? I agree, certainly seems dumb to bring Blabby on for just an hour.
