It’s quite literally GroundHog Decade @ QVC …

I don’t necessarily hate the Coco Chanel lady jacket
look that everybody has ripped off for decades, but this looks like it was crafted with placemats from Pier1 imports, circa 1998.

I like it, but I see what you mean! ![]()
I hate that term “lady jacket.” ![]()
I hate the term “lady jacket” as well. Another one I hate is “maiden” name. I always say “family” name.
So Mally the mouth has her own show/hosting gig? What the actual fuck??
On QVC? What the hell?
Next up, the Tara Talk Show. ![]()

UGH. Saw the HELLO FALL promo. “Goodbye summer,” now that we wasted 65 days on Christmas in July (and a little bit of June and August). Fuck. off.
When do they sell summer items?! January 2nd and 3rd?
And this guy wants to pass himself off as a clothing designer? Seriously … you’ve gotta try a little bit harder to look the part!
Did anyone see La Diva with a Periea presentation yesterday?
One of the colors sold out, so he rapidly waddled to the big stack of boxes to carry them offset, dropping them as he foamed at the mouth to take them out of sight.
Just bizarre behavior!
Rapidly waddled ! I can definitely picture it.
At some point during his tenure, he must have been on the wrong end of a call or an email from a customer where they complained that a sold out color was still on set. He’s the only one that practically grinds the show to a halt to remove the offending item.
Last night Shawn was on air when one of the colors of the Pereia boxes sold out. Instead of removing them box by box, she grabbed the handle on the bottom box and tried to drag the entire stack off set at once. I was waiting for the stack to topple and Shawn looking like a fool with boxes crashing around her but amazingly nothing fell.
The sold out stack was in the middle of a row of stacks so there was a gap when she pulled it out. She made a big deal about how the empty space was driving her nuts so she made a big show of pushing the remaining stacks together, all the while commenting on how she has to have everything arranged just so. On other shows I’ve actually seen her physically move OAPs as well as products to get the set organized the way she wants it. So David is not the only one who’s finicky about set arrangement.
Which just goes to show how messed up the entire operation is!
How about just saying “this is not currently available” like a normal person, instead of acting like yahoos in the circus freak show.
I think you are right about some viewer complaining. “ Why is it on air if it is sold out???!!!”
They should just slap a Sold Out sticker on items that are gone!
Or why can’t they run a “blue is sold out” code across the bottom of the screen like they do with fashion? Obviously the technology exists!
I think so too, now that @Benji mentions it. Even on the shoe shows they freak out when a color sells out “We need to take it down!” like a fire alarm went off.
Shawn is kind of OCD about things. She’s always fiddling with the hangars and fussing with the necklines and collars on tops. If they are flipped up, she flips them down or vice versa. And picking lint off things. Which is OK I guess for something on display but she does it on OAPs and models too. Don’t touch anyone without permission ! It’s funny though that this OCD doesn’t carry over to her physical appearance or home decorating style.
Perhaps Shawn is experiencing DT’s …
