QVC Live Discussion (Part 1)

This Susan Graver swim dress better be worn on a day that is not windy because one gust of wind and everyone at the pool will be getting quite the show :joy:

Well, Philosophy has certainly decided to veer away from the glamour route with its on-air representative!

The way things have been going lately, we will probably see a brand ambassador that used to represent another brand or a former host become the “new” Philosophy on-air guest.

And I’m wondering what Melissa McGoff was attempting to do with that hair!! Is it all hers??

I saw the “new” Philosophy rep this morning with Leah. I think they said she’s a senior VP at Philosophy. I don’t think you have to be beautiful to be on the air, but I almost wonder if she never realized that it might have been a good idea to get her hair color touched up before her appearance there? She literally has about 1.5" of regrowth that is brown, gray, and a third nondescript color. It makes her look “unkempt.” And on top of it, she isn’t very engaging to watch.

Why in the world did they let Mari Lynn Meier and Heidi Guest go? Did they also let Dara Lynn go too?

She’s giving off a much younger Bobbi Ray Carter vibe!

When I mentioned “glamour”, I certainly didn’t mean that one needs to be beautiful.

I just meant being put together, maybe dressed up a bit more…that sort of thing.

This representative certainly doesn’t appear to be television ready. It’s as if she were tossed into this pretty quickly.

Must be an interesting story about Mari Lyn and Lisa’s departures.

The Philosophy rep looks like she’s down possibly two packs a day now !!!

I did a quick check last night while the show I was watching had one of those abused animal commercials on (seems like the only times I watch lately), and I had no idea who that host was - thanks for mentioning it was Melissa. Those stupid bangs kept falling in her face and that Philosophy rep seemed scared to death and not excited about her product. It’s generally just pretty sad and pathetic to see what has happened to this company and how they are definitely trying the wrong things to be/stay relevant.

I really believe that this new Philosophy representative is temporary until someone else is hired.

I feel for her. She may know the product, but has no television presence or personality.

And working with someone like Shawn with that nasty smirk surely doesn’t help!

I have just re-discovered purse organizers. I have this super flappy bag made from neoprene material, the hardware pulls the bag down and it just doesn’t hold its shape.

So I got this organizer for it from the Japanese discount shop called Daiso.

It makes my purse stand up, hold its shape and and stay nicely organized inside.

Well, Peria brand (that I have many organizer boxes of) also sells purse organizers, but in pretty prints! I found a set “as is” for $10 and free shipping for the set of three. They’re the identical in design to mine and they come with gifts bags for gift giving. I got two sets, some to gift and some to keep I’m sure my friends will like them.

Thanks! I ordered a set. Free shipping today too.

I don’t carry a big bag very often, but people commented that these are good for totes or other organizational needs.
