I just looked at Martha Stewart’s “new” clothing line and was not impressed. In one photo she’s wearing a navy and white stripped top that’s straight out of the Land’s End catalog. It’s all casual, stuff she might wear when she’s at her farm, but I doubt she’s wearing when she’s in NYC. Also watched some of her show with Leah this morning.

I caught a few minutes of the replay of midnight TSV with Martha and Amy. Amy stated that one outfit reminded her of “the beach in the Hamptons” and Martha replied “OK, well good.”
It sounded somewhat snarky like Martha was not buying the Hamptons reference (not HER Hamptons, anyway) but I don’t think she was trying to be snarky. It just came out in Martha’s typical way.

I was going to order Martha’s TSV jeans, but the size and color I wanted are on advanced order. I’ll wait for reviews. The legs look slimmer, which I like.

I watched the Carla Rockmore streaming session and it was interesting. She is definitely a quirky character. She seems like she is relatively impressed with herself, she swore (mildly), using the s**t word which kinda surprised me. I wonder if QVC let her know about that. She thinks her clothing line is classic because she doesn’t like to design trendy. Well knock me over with a feather Carla. Actually I kind of like that they’re bringing in an alternative to the Sears Catalog look that proliferates that website. I won’t be a buyer, but I don’t think I’m the target audience either.

If that top had pockets it would make a good scrub top. Pockets are an absolute necessity. I used to have some really cute scrub tops, but I would never wear them for everyday wear.
Oh my gosh, I think we bought the same polka dot top at Marshall’s yesterday! The one I bought is from Tamara H. It’s black with white dots, a tie that hangs down the front and somewhat sheer short sleeves. Is that the one you bought? The top is much cuter and cheaper than anything sold by the Q.

I’m watching Kim G and Allie and Kim is going on and on about how she just wants a real natural look with her makeup which is kind of funny because her makeup is very (drag queen) nothing wrong with drag queen make up
editing she actually toned it down for the show, her eyes and lips looked great

the strip mall I went to on Sunday now has Sierra , TJ Maxx and Home Goods, the Marshalls relocated across the highway
there is empty space where Party City was…I would not be surprised to see a Home Sense open there

If this really is an employee shower (not sure), I find it interesting that there is a proliferation of Dove, Aveeno, Nivea et al, but no Philosophy?

“should look like” - this implied, to me, it’s not an employee shower. Just satire.
Plus I have no idea what any of it is especially if it involves shampoo or conditioner.
