What’s interesting is that they subtly (or maybe not so subtly) changed “Age of Possibility” to “Alive with Possibility.” So, does that mean that being over 50 is not the holy grail anymore - it’s anyone who’s alive (and some of their customers barely meet that criterion)? If they can see breath on the mirror, they’re going to court you as a customer?
@JustPlainNutz. Apple cider donuts are the best arent they?
We do agree that this looks like garbage (bags). We must have good taste!
“If they can see breath on the mirror, they’re going to court you as a customer?” I’m cracking up here, Booney
I’m complaining today
I didn’t care Sue last name? when she presented Earth shoes and even less now she’s doing Clarks
IDK why but I am really feeling color blocking and ankle pants lately. I will spend the rest of the day talking myself out of the $124 BD pants.
But FFS Sandra this is NOT “soft suiting”.
Yeah, I had a few nice color-blocked sweaters back in my younger Q days. Did not save them.
I do still have a big, bulky EddieBauer sweater with a moose knitted into it. That was back before EB went to their “slim” style of clothing. I love that sweater; it’s so “UpNorth” to me! I rarely wear it as it is very very warm. I just can’t bear to give it away.
Check E-Bay for the color block BD sweater, $24.
“Soft Suiting” might be in the lastest buzzword memo distributed to hosts.
Kerstin also used it this morning about a Joan Rivers faux leather jacket.
They also called the Joan Rivers jacket a “lady” jacket.
What the hell is that?
I’ve recently seen that term, “lady jacket,” too. Thought it meant one of those short jackets. ![]()
Is “Lady Jacket” like “Big Boy Pants”?
I believe the term “soft suiting” came about when women rebelled and tossed aside stiff, starchy, uncomfortable business suits and replaced then with coordinated knits in open jackets, skirts, and trousers that were far more comfortable, but not loose or sloppy. Styled appropriately for office wear.
Sandra apologized and said “excuse me” when she had to walk across camera in front of OAP. Politeness…what a concept.
Lady Jacket is a term for a Chanel-esque jacket
I think J Crew Started using it
I like them
Does Logo Lori realize how stupid she looks in that pink outfit and let’s not talk about the flotal print mock neck tops for $70. My rag bag hasbetter clothes in it. Isn’t Amy tired of presenting that crap.
Amy just now: “You don’t ever have to worry, ‘Am I in style? Am I relevant?’, just shop Lori’s pieces and trust me, go anywhere and do anything, you’re going to get tons of compliments and feel so confident”.
Amy knows how to play The Game!

Any truth to the rumor that Logo Lori has been cutting & styling her own hair with The Flowbee since the 1970’s ?
I think there are a couple of specific ways to do sherpa to make it cute and casual-stylish. QVC misses every single time.
Shawn doesn’t help by telling us we’ll look like muppets.
Skunks has the brains of a muppet. Sorry muppets.
Jenny Garth comes off very smug. Telling Leah she hopes everyone can come visit California for it’s beauty - obviously she doesn’t know Leah hails from Fresno, CA. Not a fancy town that Jenny is used to I’m sure but California none the less.
And $47 for a waffle knit ruffle Henley top is too much to spend on a basic item. I just received in the mail today an identical top in white and a navy blue minus the waffle knit from Ann Taylor Loft and mine was on sale for $5.97 over the Labor Day weekend.
