Piddle? That’s her name?? And how the hell did you search and find that?
@RetiredAtLast
I Googled “lady wearing pink blazer on Wheel Of Fortune.” I looked at the images, and hers was the third one I reviewed. All the details matched.
Note to self: Be careful disclosing any PII around @RubberbandGirl. ![]()
Please don’t Google “OneGuy wearing a navy polo to the office on 7/25/2025.”
Here’s how the review appears on a computer. I think @mpeeps’ copy is a mobile version.
That shade of pink looks great on just about everyone.
If you have a Sierra Trading Post store near you, and you like Democracy pants/ jeans, I found 3 pairs today! They were only $34.99 each, compared to much higher elsewhere. Now they may be last year’s but they are basic jeans that won’t go out of style. (Are jeans ever out of style?)
I had to return a Berkshire throw there today, and thought I’d just look around. Lucky me! You just never know, but thought I’d mention it.
Has anyone else noticed that the Kuhn Rikon shears QVC has sold for so many years are no longer in their inventory? The shears have long been one of my favorite Q purchases and I use them almost daily. But I’ve had to buy multiples of them because they mysteriously disappear into the hands of family and friends.
I just found the shears on Amazon and bought them there because I’m sticking to my vow to do no further business with QVC. It’s just as well, the shears are cheaper on Amazon and they ship free.
I, also, have used these shears. They are as sharp as advertised. They are NOT for children to use, however. I was using a pair for arranging altar flowers at church and managed to completely remove my index finger pad. No stitches because there was nothing to stitch. I had a cauterization and physical therapy (I did not know there were hand and finger PT specialists). I was lucky I did not lose my finger tip. I have used these shears to cut chicken bones, so I am sure they could cut through a finger bone. In my experience, these are great utility scissors, but not for use by children.
Woot.com often has the scissors.
I got from a second hand platform a Joan River’s ladybug jewelry set. It came with a necklace and 4 reversible charms, earrings with 4 reversible charms and a ladybug station bracelet. It is extremely well made, the enameling is perfect. I paid $50 for the set. Joan Rivers had high standards for her products that’s for sure.
Another recent jewelry purchase is these solid 14k Diamonique huggie hoops. They’re vintage but the prices of solid gold pieces brand new are outrageous. I got these for $50. So very well made and the sparkle of vintage Diamonique is so much more eye catching than current day.
Then I got these new with tags qvc brand steel by design cross hoops plated in yellow for $7. There’s so many great deals on the second hand marketplace.
@ParadeofRoses ebay?
Yes! Lots of beautiful jewelry at amazing prices on eBay. You have to be on the look out though.
I have bought quite o few Judith Ripka pieces on E-Bay, great prices, Adhorned bags too.
Is Judith R still on the Q?
They sell Ripka’s jewelry on JTV. The representative is her daughter in law. The jewelry is still very expensive and yet not as weighty and not the quality of what was sold on QVC

A few years ago, I bought a Mr. Christmas Halloween tree. Like the one linked below, but Halloween themed. As I was setting it up today, I noticed the bottom is glued on and there’s no way to change the bulb. I’ve had other little trees like this with a removable bulb. When they burn out, I change them to LED. I’ll be avoiding Mr. Christmas from now on. Too bad, because I needed a replacement for a ceramic tree that broke. (I love these little trees if you couldn’t tell, easy to put some holiday spirit in every room, and safe to leave on with LEDs!)

I used to really like the Mr Christmas little music boxes. I would buy them for friends every year. Now they have nothing unique, and the quality has really dropped. I have not bought anything of theirs for several years. Sad.
Hmmmm. I think my Mr Christmas tree is older, but I will have to check when I open it up this year.
