it’s prime day on Amazon today
Thanks, I ordered two. I have grandchildren that are starting to live on their own and I thought that would be a nice little gift
I have these trees in almost every season from patriotic to Easter and Thanksgiving with a turkey on top to Christmas.
I’m always concerned about the light bulb situation too. Kind of a dumb design. Mine are all plug in. My American grandma made me a white Christmas tree back in the 70’s and my Japanese mom got rid of it during one of our many moves. This is my cutie Halloween version.
I have the same one on my desk, but the blue bulbs are purple with a pumpkin on top! I only get plug in, too many QVC items require batteries. I almost wonder if they’re in cahoots with Energizer! ![]()
I’m too lazy to change batteries for decor - I just can’t deal with it. I love the plug in factor of these trees but the lightbulb will be an issue someday.
@ParadeofRoses The tree kinda looks like it’s made of chocolate.
During last weekends free shipping promotion I purchased these Berkshire throws. The peanuts version was “as is” but in brand new condition. The kitty cat version is going to someone who loves cats. You don’t see many cat blankets out there - it was a must have.
I bought the David’s Cookies at Costco this morning. Thanks for the tip! Hope we like them. I’m not opening them until Christmas.
Costco was very busy at 11am on a Monday!
Might have been at TWoP, but we once had a discussion about the cuteness or awfulness of these figurines. Something about their weirdness attracted me, and I bought them. ![]()
Today, as I went through fall decorations I never use any more, I donated them. I hope someone else will find them weirdly attractive too! ![]()
And — I have this photo to admire/laugh about!
It’s my understanding that those savvy little pumpkin hats are fast becoming this year’s “IT” accessory … everybody wants one!
I recently purchased this Pop magnification mirror compact with LED light. I love it - it helps me with mascara application and to get a better view of my skin. It’s bright which can be too much if you’re sensitive to that. But worth the $16.98 with free ship. I also like that it’s rechargeable and no batteries to replace.
I bought this years ago, from QVC, I think. Brand is “Stitches in Time.” I just loved it. I’m finally giving it away because I haven’t worn it in years and it is a heavy sweater. I hope it doesn’t become an Ugly Sweater for someone! ![]()
Also I am pleased I managed to post a photo! Patting self on back. ![]()
What a beautiful sweater and the workmanship looks so well executed. I love sunflowers. My mom who recently passed away painted me a watercolor of sunflowers. Your photo looks great! Whoever gets that sweater is lucky.
I recently purchased this steel by Diamonique bracelet set and I am very pleased with it. I haven’t ordered Diamonique in a very long time. The set is hefty and shiny. My husband was even impressed which is saying a lot, he’s not a jewelry guy.
I got these Diamonique Jennifer Miller hoop earrings for Valentines - they’re pretty cute. If QVC goes under I will miss Diamonique.
I have long been a fan of Jimmy the Baker’s sticky buns (the pastries, ha ha). But on a whim I also ordered the strawberry buns and wow, they are great with or without the tub of frosting that comes with.
I ordered these to take to my church’s coffee hour, but they might not make it there unless I restrain myself. Good thing Jimmy has a website so if the Q falls, I’ll be able to order from there.

What’s up with the TSV water filter system for $150. Doesn’t a Brita do the same thing?
They ran dyed red water through a Brita and it didn’t remove the color. That other water filter did. But IDK if that means it’s filtering water any more effectively than a Brita does.
I think reverse osmosis takes out everything in the water
Brita doesn’t
I have a whole house water purifier, but I also have a R/O system under my kitchen sink that I use for cooking and drinking. The whole house filter is very good, but the R/O gets rid of anything in the water that shouldn’t be there. I have had an R/O system in two houses, and would not like to be without one. I am very pro R/O.
