Another scary movie about a child serial killer: We Need to Talk About Kevin, starring Ezra Miller as a psychopathic young teen who racks up an impressive body count. Gave me nightmares.
Patty McCormack was nothing like her Rhoda character in real life. But Ezra in real life has proved to be disturbingly evil - not someone youād want to meet or have around your kids.
I canāt watch that kind of stuff ā too disturbing to me.
However, watching surgeries or injuries on medical shows doesnāt bother me at all! My husband is the opposite. 
Adolescence on Netflix is very good as well.
If you liked āThe Bad Seedā you would probably enjoy āThe Good Sonā with Macaulay Culkin. Itās an updated version from 1993, with a young Culkin as the evil little villain, a far cry from his āHome Aloneā days.
I am especially impressed with Adolescence because each episode was filmed in one continuous shot. No broken scenes, just one long scene.
It was the film debut of the young actor who played the main character. Now THAT is some praiseworthy talent!
I read that about them filming all in one continuous shot. I donāt know that I realized it when watching it, but there is a lot of tension building as the episodes unfold and Iām sure that filming technique heightened it. Yes, that young actor is superb. I know the actor that played the father has won some awards and I believe the young man has as well ?
The actor who played the father (Stephen Graham) was already a multi-award winning British actor who also wrote and produced Adolescence. The young actor (Owen Cooper) won several awards for his work in this production.
Heavy subject matter but a wonderful watch.
Nancy Kelly was a great actress! In fact her first talkie was āGlorifying the American Girlā - 1929 with Eddie Cantor which we recently watched on my stream ā¦ she plays an uncredited child actor in that movie ā¦ just some Nancy Kelly trivia for you!! 
I love The Pitt but have had to shield my eyes through many of the scenes because of the gore. Though I know itās not real, itās so realistic it makes me want to pass out.
Same here. I loved ER back in the day but back then the injuries and surgeries werenāt as graphic as in The Pitt.
Iāve heard about this show. Supposed to be good. I have very little interest in medical dramas. Iāve spent too much time in hospitals & seen too much to want to see it in a show.
The Pitt is excellent, very high quality acting and writing and the stories reflect real life issues such as patients not able to afford the care they need, other patients not treated well by doctors because theyāre homeless or fat, etc. Nothing is sensationalized and though we get insights into the medical staffās personal lives, the episodes donāt focus on whoās sleeping with whom.
The show is well worth watching, even if some scenes get really bloody.

I wasnāt planning on getting any of the latest trader Joeās bags because they sold out everywhere by 9am. Thereās a store a few miles away that had a 5pm drop- which is actually very nice for people who work. I was able to score some.
