I’m surprised he doesn’t have outlines on that table telling him what to put where. Let’s see, the grouping of 3 candles goes here. The two hurricane lamps go there. And the coasters go right here. Voila, perfection ! They should give him his own show. Table decorating with Diva !

The rote, sad, seasonal table decor. Lines up with the on-air David. Robotic, color obsessed, number obsessed, “relatable” quips delivered ad nauseam, death stares to the crew, etc. He looks absolutely miserable and I am quite sure he is dealing with serious and chronic pain. I think he’s in survival mode but for whatever reason can’t/won’t retire. I always see some kind of legal layup going on here.

If David is dealing with chronic pain, I wonder why he doesn’t take a medical leave of absence to get treatment for it? He and QVC don’t seem to have issues with him taking frequent vacations. In the past, we would never see ITKWD pre-empted but now they will often move half the show to QVC2 so there’s more time on the main channel to promote other stuff.
Could this mean he is no longer top dog among the hosts and even Q management is tiring of his stale, heavily mannered style of presenting? Would they maybe like him to quit?

I think his star started to fade a while ago. He is the least flexible of all hosts when it comes to presenting items. He’s pigeon-holed into a certain sector. Even Rick presents more of a variety of products in comparison to Diva.

he used to do jewelry and I think sort of emcce the shoes for Breast cancer shows
unfortunatley Q made him the cooking guy and as of 2026 it’s not working well for him

He hasn’t cooked on air in quite a while. Instead of assigning him co-hosts who basically suck up to him, they should hire someone who does cook and is genuinely excited about food and food prep. This would liven up the show and pave the way for that person to take over whenever David ultimately exits.

@Yinzer that’s why I think it’s ridiculous that QVC continues to air his show promo with the “I’m not chef, I’m a home cook just like you are.” It’s disingenuous, as he hasn’t cooked anything on-air in ages. Plus he always came off awkward when doing so.

t almost looks like David started his Americana display with that red, white, and blue candle (?). Maybe it’s Valentine’s and President’s Day in one lovely display? I am really not sure why they moved Sunday’s ITKWDm (or was it Wednesday?) to Q2. If I watch at all, I don’t follow him there.

He has done that for a long time. It drives me crazy, but he doesn’t listen. He is too busy trying to figure out the next thing to say, but he often asks the OAP a question right after it has been answered.

agreed. he physically looks kinda haggard. the few phrases he repeats ad nauseam and running words together doesn’t help. he doesn’t listen to hear. he is waiting for the presenter to be quiet so he can repeat colors, numbers and drop a useless “this is VERY important”. he’s not engaged anymore.
