Funny you mention fingers. I often give Diva one finger salutes when he’s being most obnoxious (which includes every time he repeats the candy flicking mom or dead dad shoes stories).

Well, I have to say, Jen and Diva handled that about as well as they could have. But you would think they would have tested that out ahead of time. 
I also have a set of Corelle dishes. I got them from Sears (!!!) many years ago when I moved into my first apartment. They do resist chipping if they are knocked around in the sink or as you’re loading/unloading the dishwasher, etc. BUT, they definitely do shatter if dropped. After all these years, I have never dropped one. Until one of my darling, sweet, cute, rambunctious kittens knocked a plate off the counter. It shattered much worse than Jen’s did. Lots of small pieces and even lots of fine glass “dust”. It took a lot of sweeping and vacuuming to get it all cleaned up.
I blame Joey. I gave him a stern talking to. And then lots of hugs and kisses.
