Anyone else skeeved out by the nails on many of the OAP? They are so distracting to me. How do they do anything with them other than point? Not a fan.

I’m totally grossed out by Vanessa’s ( I like Vanessa, just not her choice of toe nail polish ) toe nail polish in stark white. She wore sandals the other night and her toes looked like buck teeth sticking out of her shoe….ewww, yuk, blech!

or perhaps the model Katia - I bet she has to go up a half or whole size when selecting closed-toe shoes to accommodate the large toe toenails. Looks like she’s trimmed them since last summer.

FauxCo’s toes also look more like fingers. I haven’t captured a pic yet. Surprised she hasn’t gotten them cosmetically altered like everything else?

I know what you’re talking about, and I agree. I wouldn’t call FauxCo’s fingernails “nasty” since they always look clean, but there are times that they really take attention away from the products. She and Vanessa both have nails that can do that.

I totally can’t stand long or even close to long toenails, so gross! Or french manicure toenails! Too many of the models have the long ones on all the channels.

Just for cleanliness’ sake, can you imagine all the gunk and bacteria and fungi that are trapped under those disgusting long toe nails? They look more like deer hooves, no offense to deer.

I’m really surprised there seems to be no company policy about on air grooming. Hairstyles might be subjective, but severely chipped manicures/pedicures with close up shots of merchandise they are TRYING TO SELL? In what circumstance would this ever be acceptable?

During a recent livestream, I recall Kerstin saying that the hosts have to do their own hair. I would not be one bit surprised if this is their way of trying to get QVC to bring back someone to do nails before the hosts go on air. My guess is they get paid well enough to get their own nails done, and they have time to get them done as well. QVC sells so many nail products that you’d think they’d be well versed on how to do their own nails.

She was probably taking her own advice and just sitting in the car for 15 minutes before and after each appointment. With that kind of a schedule something has to give. No manicure.

I rarely watch jewelry shows, and my own nails are short and unpolished, so I am hardly an expert. But Kerstin’s nails above are BAD.

I’ve noticed that Leah has impeccably manicured nails. If she does them herself, kudos to her, but I suspect they’re professionally done. Whatever she does to achieve that professional appearance, she’s an example to the other hosts on how it should be done.
