Thatās been my guess for quite a while. She either has friends in high places or some pictures. She acts like she has the goods on somebody.

Blackmailing the higher-ups has to be the only reason they keep her employed. For every viewer who buys things because of Shawn, thereās probably an equal number who click off the channel when sheās on and deliberately donāt buy when sheās selling - count me in that number.
I think her piggish, vile, disgusting antics are meant not just as FUās to viewers who donāt like her, but also her sticking it to the VIPs just to show she can and see how much she can get away with.
But someday sheāll go too far. Or another host will take over as the Favorite.

To be perfectly honest, I donāt see a problem with her hair. Or frankly, anything but her glasses. Does she truly think she looks good in those glasses? I guess if she does, thatās all that mattersā¦ but does she? Really?

I think she likes the attention and the āquirkyā designation she thinks it gives her.
If they are true readers, I donāt know how she can see through the top part of them. Everything would be blurry. Headache!!!

Did any of you catch skunk and Rick last night when they were presenting kindle thing you can write on? Rick shared a letter he wrote to his father who has passed. He got choked up, it was real emotion that made me teary too.

She wore these giant red glasses on last nightās beauty products show, along with bright red lipstick, apparently attempting to look super chic. But on a big-screen TV a close-up of her was absolutely terrifying.

I caught that too and also felt sad along with him. Iām close in age to him and could relate. Iāve lost both parents and two siblings within the last 18 months.
I saw him get choked up another time about his mother when he was on with Valerie.
Edited to add- I will give Skunky some credit for acting human and comforting to him in that moment.

In that picture with Rachel, she looks like she has put on a lot of weight, so I am thinking it must be the camera angle. Kimās shirt is way too big. And Skunk just looks so dumb in her Mr. Magoo glasses. And still, her followers just love every bit of quirk she can throw at them.

This is Carolyn Pollock on the 50 and Fabulous show. She wore a cute shorts suit, which looked good on her because she has great legs.Carolyn appeared to be very ill for a couple of years. Iām glad to see she seems to be fine now.
I like the Naja necklace she was showing. I donāt think Shawn liked it, although she tried to talk it up and make it sound like she wanted one.

Donāt know if this is true or not, but posters on a QVC FB page said that QVC bought her company and sheās just representing it now. They also said the name will be changed to American West Style, because the jewelry is being made in Thailand. The item descriptions on a few things I looked up on the website did say designed in New Mexico and imported. What a shame; she used to have some beautiful pieces.
