No I certainly don’t believe David Venable is very easy to work with..when Stacey Stauffer was a host I saw him be so rude to her on one of the Wednesday night ITKWD….haven’t liked him since…he’s full of himself

She constantly throws her mother and her disabilities under the bus to make a sale……..and don’t forget her firing from “The Apprentice” for saying, “You have to fake it till you make it.” She disgusts me.

I really don’t understand why people come down on her for that expression. Fake it til you make it makes perfect sense to me. You act the part you want until the behavior is ingrained and you have those skills or behaviors. You can’t just turn on a button and suddenly you have skills - you have to work up to them.
ETA - I know Martha didn’t like it, but I don’t get it.

I think that as people (including Martha) got to know her and were able to see her work habits and lack of dedication and discipline, it was pretty obvious that she intended to stay in the “fake it” zone and not put in the work to master the skill set. She prefers to just act like she gives a crap - about almost everything. Which still doesn’t explain why she still has a job and is apparently so “popular “ with some customers.

@CantDance …………..ITA, she (Shawn) never developed the skill set on “The Apprentice “ , which is why she was fired. IMHO she has also not developed the skill set to be an acceptable host on QVC……she is rude, crude, sloppy and unhygienic. I just don’t understand her devoted fans and mostly TPTB at the Q for keeping her there.

Funny story. When I was working for a public school system, if an employee was arrested in the community (depending on the offense) they would be placed administrative leave pending the outcome. We had a teacher who was arrested for shoplifting from Kohl’s. At the time, I thought why would you risk jail and your career for anything at Kohl’s.

Maybe 10-15 years ago, I was looking for Christmas decor and went to Kohl’s. Even back then the quality was so poor! I think Kohl’s and QVC have the same manufacturer, Mr. Christmas is just one of the labels used by that manufacturer… the other label is gold and says Made In China.

Kohl’s has Muk Luks and Cuddle Duds which QVC carries….rarely shop there ….occasionally I order something online if it can be shipped to the store for pickup because their shipping cost is very expensive …I just checked to see what was on the Q this afternoon and darn if it’s not Kim Gravel…I’ll move on to something else

Did I miss something? What’s wrong with Kohls now?
They manipulate the price of their goods (mostly poorly made house brands) based on whatever “discount” they’re offering that day. They were one of the first stores to have digital price tags that can be altered at a whim. They hand out store cards and credit cards like candy and people wind up paying 35% APR on something they bought only because they thought it was “discounted.”
Of course many companies do this, but Kohl’s and QVC are especially predatory about it in my opinion. Kohl’s doesn’t have EZ Pay, but they push their credit cards like crazy and then fill your mailbox with coupons that MUST be used in the next week. Like QVC, they prey on shopping addicts, hoarders, the elderly, and idiots in general.
Now that I think about it, signing up for a Kohl’s membership is like signing up for a casino players club. Just change Free Play to Kohl’s Cash. Same idea, to get addicts through the door with a false sense of urgency. Go in to use that $10 coupon and you leave $100 poorer.

I had not bought from Kohl’s in years. Just before Thanksgiving, I got a great classic cable knit sweater for $12.74 and two pairs of sterling studs earrings at $6.50 each with free shipping (at $25). I’ve wanted to buy the sweater again in a different color, but the price hasn’t been anywhere close. Lowest has been $17.99. I love the sweater but I want a deal!

I find some great deals on sheets and towels and under garments at Kohls.I used to shop there more when my children were teens, but now it’s limited to just a few categories.

Unfortunately she is back and looks like crap after all that time off, Didn’t even bother to get a haircut and her hair looks like straw, And those terrible gaudy silver boots, and magoo glasses.

Yep, she looks extra horrible in those stupid silver boots and those extremely unflattering jeans.
So, this is going to be a weekly show of PLW on Mondays at 8:00 pm. Whose bright idea was this ? I can sense she and Alina are already getting on each other’s nerves. Alina doesn’t play along with Skunky’s dumb games. She calls her out on sizing, etc.
