She has a huge social media following compared to most of the other hosts, there are a lot of morons in this country. That IMO is the only reason she still has a job.

Shawn has perfected her act, disgusting and trashy as it is, to appeal to her fans. I am well over 50, and have removed QVC from my TV lineup last week after watching since day one on CVN. I really donât think this freak show in Las Vegas is going to recover the money they have spent. They are not getting the demographic they want with this insulting display of âtalentâ, and Shawn is going to go farther and farther with her âkeeping realâ for the younger demographic who are happy to buy cheap imported clothes that can be tossed next year. I really feel that a lot of people watch just to laugh at her. The Q will not survive without shoppers who have money to spend, and they have just spend a whole lot to offend those people. I really think this was a big mistake by the PTB, and I feel very sorry for Shawnâs familyâespecially her young daughter.

Evidently, they had Sandra post some kind of explanation for the whole Las Vegas thing saying it was merely a âwork conference.â What is up with that? Seems like some back pedaling. I never went to any work conference that was advertised in Vogue. Plus, why didnât they have Shawn post the explanation, since she seems to be the âfaceâ of the whole thing? Very interesting.

Sounds like backpedaling, for sure. I think the PTB are getting feedback that they did not expect. A âwork conferenceâ in Las Vegas? With updates on Shawnâs hemorrhoid on national TV? And everyone else acting stupid? I think this âwork conferenceâ has backfired badly, and is proving to be a very bad decision.

I got one of those junk mail âage of possibilities â fliers and threw it right in the trash. No coupon code for free shipping or discounts what was the point of it? Waste of money and resources. QVC is definitely feeling the backlash.

I still canât believe they wasted money on those pointless flyers with zero coupons or any customer-value info. They really thought weâwe over 50s, who full well remember a world without internet, never mind fake celebrity âinfluencersââgive two

âHi friends! I was just cleaning my house after being away but something is on my mind. Iâve been seeing a lot of people post negative comments asking why we were in Vegas, what was the point, what a waste of money, etc. I havenât really seen it on my page, but Iâm seeing it on QVC and other host pages. Maybe we should have explained better. Although it was the official kickoff for the Age Of Possibility and involves some publicity, most of It wasnât really for press or television. It was a work conference, like Iâm sure so many of you have gone on. As you know, Vegas is a good place for conferences and businesses have them there constantly. It was a chance for the 50 women to get to know each other, learn from one another and get pumped up for things we have coming up. Because most of the Q50 are business leaders, activists or entertainers from outside of QVC we wanted them to understand what it was all about. We didnât know if we would do any shows from there, but decided to do four hours of programming. So, thatâs why we went to Vegas and I think all of the attendees came away moved and inspired by the power of QVC as a destination for women over 50. Love this community.â

Well, it seems obvious that Shawnie Sueâs hemorrhoid, and her uncouth comment about it, prevented her from being able to be the trusted spokesperson for this particular back pedal.
Isnât it interesting that so many of us have been begging, for QVC to return to its foundation of QUALITY, VALUE, CONVENIENCE and CLASS and yet THIS is what they give us?

The only kind of maturity Shawn has is physical. She often reports on her motherâs shortcomings. But if I were in Loâs shoes, Iâd be mortified to see my daughterâs behavior on national media.

Iâve always wondered about this.
A few years ago sheâd regularly break down over her father, and then two seconds later sheâd be making rude comments (IMO) about her mother, or discussing her motherâs personal information (like medical issues) that should be kept private.
Some of us have or had difficult relationships with our parents, but the last place to bring these issues up is in the workplace!
