Hi Snarkers! 
As many of you know, last month I started a Patreon to help raise funds to keep Shopping Snark going. Itās been quite a success!
A very sincere thank you to everyone for your contributions, whether through Patreon, or just by participating on the forum. Iām so glad weāve been able to keep this going, and I hope for many more years of snarky fun! 
I have a few site updates to share!
First, I am still fighting to get Shopping Snark approved for ads. There were a few technical snafus which I take accountability for, but those were corrected immediately. I have been in contact with ad providers, but there is little urgency to correct the technical issues on their end. Essentially, their systems arenāt communicating with ours. I had everything checked by a professional who assures me the issue is on their end. At this point, Iām just waiting on them to figure it out. As of today, the expected resolution is 2+ weeksā¦ 
Second, I know there was interest in one time donations. Unfortunately, we will not be able to accept one time donations. There is no way to do this in a way that protects everyoneās anonymity and banking info. Patreon is a totally secure platform and the smaller monthly amounts are more palatable to most contributors. Iām sorry for any inconvenience, but Patreon is truly the safest way to contribute at this time.
Finally, the Patreon is doing great and itās been a huge relief to alleviate some of the financial burden associated with running this site. That said, we still arenāt halfway to covering expenses, so please sign up if youāre so inclined. Every dollar helps and your generosity is much appreciated!
