Maybe her mother isn’t long for this world? If so we can expect dying video like she posted for her father. Ugh
“You… are… the host, David… You have… always been… the host, David…”
I wish some dingaling caller would flat out stun the unwitting host ask where Courtney is on live TV. ![]()
why not just put out a blurb on her socials
Because these are televised sales associates, not Secretaries of Defense or something? Really not our bidness.
I watched more of HSN yesterday than I have in a while and I really enjoyed Anthony, which is normal. And I didn’t see any Booney entries this time. He dresses so elegantly himself, he had clothes that were flattering on the models; he and the woman doing the show with him were professional. I also was struck by how HSN always seamlessly works with models, not relegating them off to another room or a corner and not mentioning them for five seconds only, like QVC narcissists do. Anyway, the following show was a woman with dark hair and a Sandra Bennett haircut - though shorter, more shoulder length. She was very good and of course like everyone else on HSN, her clothing looked good and fit her. I may like QVC products better but there is no question HSN is better at presentation.
I really don’t understand all the hate directed at Courtney. What did she do or say that was so offensive? I look at her and see a great deal of insecurity because a thoughtless person or persons directed cruel or unkind remarks toward her at an early age criticizing her looks, and once the seeds of insecurity and doubt are planted, they continue to grow. Judging by her demeanor, I don’t think she’d deliberately strike back in that same fashion toward anybody.
IMO she does come off somewhat fake. To me that’s not hate-able… annoying maybe.
She has been influenced too much by Jane, which is where I think it’s good they don’t work together anymore. Maybe Jane was stalking her as if she were a third daughter and CoKo had enough.
100% agree on the insecurity part.
CoKo used to have a natural exotic beauty and some of her plastic surgeries have seemingly “de-ethnicized” her look. I also think her sinuses are messed up, maybe by surgery, maybe not - but she always sounds like she has a stuffed up nose to me and that was not always the case.
It’s not for me to understand why she does what she does, but I certainly don’t. If this is all something she wants, then more power to her. I don’t judge her for what she does with her own body.
But if she is/was being influenced or cajoled or bullied into it (by her mother? husband? Etc?), that’s really sad.
I thought Courtney had the potential to be a standout host. Attractive appearance and demeanor, presented products well, polite to OAPs and models. Then the weirdness with Janey seemed to sabotage her.
Jane T could steamroll a steam roller
- People will remember negative comments;
- I remember negative comments b/c it underscored what I felt about myself
- Whenever I got a compliment I didn’t think that they were sincere.
- Courtney is in the spotlight and there are some mean hombres out there.
- I like her…I sympathize with her…
- YMMV
Interesting reading (This was me until I realized that I really don’t care what people think of me…very liberating):
(Body dysmorphic disorder - Symptoms and causes - Mayo Clinic)
I just turned 65 years old, and I still almost cringe at compliments.
… So true about nasty, negative, mean, cruel comments that people direct at you, even when you are a child. Those comments can be buried way back in a tiny recess in your mind, but sometimes an unpleasant memory can be triggered and it takes you right back to that particular time and place in your life, and you remember exactly how badly someone made you feel. It’s also true for most of us, as we get older and come into our own, you shrug it off because you really do not care about the opinions of others, especially those who don’t even know you well. But sadly for some, they might never reach that comfort zone, and spend their whole lives doubting their self worth. It’s human nature to snark for a touch of fun and humor, but sometimes you just need to stop and think, and to take a step back and pause. Life’s tough enough and small acts of kindness go a long, long way … and, it can change a life in a most positive way.![]()

It occurs to me that the HSN clothing sizes are not the same as QVC clothing sizes. Won’t it be interesting to see how or if they consolidate the fashion segment? I can envision a crapload of returns because of confusion over sizing.
I think almost all day yesterday was devoted to Vince Camuto. It made me think: their rep is Casey, the Q Camuto rep is Bethany something; if both brands are on different channels, will one rep now be used? I know, it’s not an earth shatteringly important question, but my mind went there.
The Associates of QVC & HSN recently attended their first QGroup “Getting to Know You” staff meeting in Studio Park. Everything went exactly as expected!

I would think that duplicate vendor reps would definitely be part of the human collateral we’ve spoken of. If they’re not, they should be frankly.
Bringing the discussion about the layoffs here. Obviously we won’t know who was laid off other than hosts, unless it’s put on social media somewhere. I know that QVC hired new hosts recently, I don’t know how recently, maybe a year ago, but these layoffs could be more behind the scenes people. I would think that there would be a fair amount of those folks losing their jobs, unfortunately.
We do know that they’ve been advertising for new hosts, so it would be surprising that they would hire more now unless several of the HSN people have opted out. The other possibility is that some of the current hosts are retiring, or have been offered retirement packages. Things we don’t know.
Agreed. The shoppingista linked article seemed to say beginning of April though who knows how inclusive that is. There could be layoffs for weeks.
