The time for QVC and HSN (well, all of the shopping networks) to “lean into” streaming and “influence” was 10 years ago.
I was today years old when I read that Qurate also owns Frontgate, Grandin Road, and Ballard Designs. Talk about companies that could not be more different from Q/HSN!

In the 90’s my firm merged with a much smaller firm.We were all confident we would all keep our jobs…
I was the only one who was kept on the payroll and still I was transferred to another dept.
I wonder if the same will happen with HSN and QVC merger?

I had no idea! 
We moved into a house with beautiful antique sconces, but it was near impossible to find shades that fit. Ballard Designs was the only company that sold the perfect shades. Expensive, but very high quality. The complete opposite of QVC.

I love Ballard Designs. I have a store less than 10 miles from me, at the King of Prussia Mall. They are pricey, but the quality is excellent. I’ve bought several items from Ballard over the years and have never been disappointed.

ok ok, he is. I watched a show with him a few weeks ago and he’s not histrionic or a speed talker so I say I hope he sticks around. What are the chances that Marlo, who is still absent, would make that move? I know we don’t have an answer to that, I was just pondering.
Also, Rick and Guy in the same show would appeal to me.

I like Guy because he’s actually a manly presence that I can believe something he says if I want see yard equipment or tools (even though I would get better ones, cheaper somewhere else). Rick has really worn thin in this area, though he always gets a pass because what other men are on the Q? I haven’t seen the two new hires; are they more like Guy or more like Alberti?
