QVC Live Discussion (Part 2)

I agree, bronze jewelry is costume, not fine jewelry. I don’t care how they try to spin it, I’d never want to pass that kind of jewelry to my grandchildren as I’ll do with my actual 14K jewelry someday. Not that I have that much, but at least what I do have is the real thing!

I saw Leah briefly this morning and that was my first impression, that she appeared to have lost some weight.

I agree with the bronze jewelry. It’s fun jewelry I don’t take it seriously to consider it as heirloom or to baby it.
I have a hexagonal bangle and mesh nail head coil bracelet purchased from the QVC Bronzo Italia line. I intentionally got the rose finish because if it happens to tarnish - the original metal color of the bronze is identical and wouldn’t be so obvious. But so far the bracelets have held up very well and they’re over 10 year old.

:hugs: :hugs: :hugs: Really :two_hearts: the coil nail head bracelet. The original Bronzo Italia Jewelry was very budget friendly at a time when gold prices were beginning to climb, but it was still QUALITY jewelry. I have pieces that I purchased way back then, and they still look good.

Yes :raising_hands: I Agree they are decent quality! I remember Sandra sold me the hexagonal bangle and LaLisa Robertson sold me the nails head bracelet. Amy sold me this basic bangle - a bit scratched up over the years but still going strong. All made in Italy. Jewelry had it’s peak moment years back but the trend seems to be less is more these days.
I wonder how David Marksteins items will hold up.

I had a local drug store extra bucks coupon and ROAR was on the shelf. So I tried a bottle. Let’s just say if my father named a drink flavor after me that tasted like that, I’d bonk him over the head. :grimacing:

Why can’t someone come up with a new healthy beverage that tastes as good as bad-for-you regular soda?

Over the past 20+ years, I have purchased many pairs of NYDJ jeans from other places and QVC. I have liked most of them, although I’ve returned a few that were pretty see-through in light colors. I usually wear a size 8, but I have sized down in looser fit styles. But I don’t size down in every style. When the NYDJ rep shows the models, I have to say that most of them look like they’re wearing a size too small for them. He always highlights the model Angela, and I personally think she looks shrink wrapped in the “after” photo. That would not be an enticement for me to buy a size smaller than I usually wear.

This morning they all were in too tight pants, even the slender LuAnn’s pants were straining horizontally

it was actually nice to watch Pat and Angel sell quacker today

I just saw Pat, LuAnn and Angela standing together in the TSV. Pat looked fine, but LuAnn and Angela looked painfully stuffed into those jeans. :grimacing:

I dread NYDJ TSVs on Mondays because that means we have to see Skunky prancing around (in a size 0 or XXS, as the case may be) and doing butt boobies.

I very rarely watch QVC anymore, but I did do a check and have to agree with all of the comments. They ALL looked like the pants were at least a size too small and they were way too tight. In one of the “before” or “Not NYDJ” pictures, the before looked either the same or better. And no way would I spend $100 on a pair of jeans that don’t even look good. I will look for them at other places, but I am fine with my DG2 or even Marshall’s jeans!
