QVC Live Discussion (Part 2)

That really doesn’t look like a peel to me. My SIL gets fillers and that’s what she looks like for a few days afterwards. I’m also surprised that she did it knowing she had to be on air so soon afterwards.

I heard her say that the cosmetology had an opening today and she took it. She also said that she could have asked another host to fill in for her but she felt ok.

   I do believe that David Markstein has reached his limit of time spent with the QVC “cool girls.”

The TSV necklaces and bracelets are really nice looking…but they’re bronze underneath so I’m not buying. I adore beautiful jewelry, and gold is too rich for my budget these days, but I wish these pieces were made in sterling silver. I just can’t get excited about bronze. One reason is, it will never appreciate in value.

IMHO, bronze jewelry isn’t fine jewelry, it’s costume. It doesn’t make me feel beautiful and confident like wearing silver or gold does, even if it’s well made. I’m aware that some high quality costume jewelry sells for big bucks, but seems like QVC is trying to convince us that the bronze stuff is high end. It reminds me of how some food companies are putting less in their packaging yet jacking up prices.

Does anyone else feel like bronze jewelry isn’t as great as the Q wants us to believe it is?

QVC started pushing the bronze jewelry when Lisa R was still a host. I bought one piece (bracelet) and ended up returning it because it made a weird sound when it hit a table or my desk. I thought it sounded “cheap.” I’m with you - I’d rather buy sterling silver than what I consider to be costume jewelry.

I agree totally. Bronze is not fine jewelry. I won’t buy it. Every time one of the hosts held up a necklace over their other hand to let it “pool up” to show the flexibility; it failed. There was no flexibility at all. Looked stiff and cheap. Is the designer’s name David? I don’t care for him at all. He seems so intense and nervous. He’s been there for many years, he should be comfortable by now. Seems disingenuous to me. But then, aren’t they all a bunch of liars?

Leah looks like she might be losing some weight. I remember listening to her talk about losing weight several years ago and she said that she did it because her doctor told her that she needed to do it (health problems). Maybe the problems came back?

He does seem shifty somehow. He also pokes his tongue out randomly and often. I wonder if he has tardive dyskinesia? Isn’t he also one of JenJen’s exes? I couldn’t even imagine them together.

:hugs: :hugs: :hugs: I purchased this White Bronze Meandering Hearts Bracelet from the RLM Studio line many years ago when Morris was a regular at QVC. It’s very shiny, good weight, and looks like high end sterling silver. Today I would be hesitant to purchase anything with a plated finish because so many reviewers note that the finish wears away within weeks.

   I love Alberti proudly declaring to Dr. Lindquist that YES HE DID eat a Big :hamburger: Mac at 10:30 in the evening, and he feels no shame!

I recall him telling Kerstin multiple times on SMQ that he just consumed a bag of Ruffles or Doritos. She always appeared mortified!

   Perhaps I may be wrong, but does anyone seriously believe that Joan Rivers would actually dress up in this outfit?

They sell that line of products at Target…

I haven’t watched the Sat. show since Ali Blabba but today Amy was doing the show with Alberti and I really enjoyed it. Which could be permanent? She’s not perfect but much better than Ali Blabba.
