QVC Live Discussion (Part 1)

Oh that’s good to know in a way. Thank you. I guess every company sells out eventually, huh? (Philosophy, Beekman, Burt’s Bees, on and on…)

Mally had a bankruptcy, maybe 10+ years ago and the company changed hands several times. She basically has been an employee of the owners for awhile.

   On a brighter note … One of our local cider mills officially opened today rolling out the season’s first freshly pressed cider, and a festive homemade assortment of seasonal goodies, including apple cider, pumpkin spice, and maple cream donuts from their in house bakery. I realize that it’s just August 28th, but I can’t have all of the fun myself, and therefore I’m giving everyone Permission to Pumpkin!

But I have nothing to wear ! I’ll have to buy a whole new outfit from QVC ! Should I go with D&Co or Kim Gravel ? Or splurge on Barefoot Dreams ?

If you are lucky like me, you’ll get a style book in the mail with a coupon for free shipping on FOUR FASHION ORDERS!!

Unfortunately, I have rarely been one of the “select customers” to get those discount promotions.

Right now 15,000 of Grater’s hideous “cardigans” have been ordered. It looks awful on Pat. $50 for another pure plastic fantastic creation. How does Susan sleep at night knowing she is hugely adding to the destruction of the planet? Not to mention ripping people off with these outrageous prices. It’s completely beyond me that people would buy this stuff.

How can anyone watch this annoying woman. She is just so grating and NEVER looks at the camera, just always watching herself and posing. In reality she is just a glorified designer because QVC owns the Graver line and they set the pricing.

And don’t forget, in addition to all of those annoying behaviors, she also NEVER stops talking. Can’t leave that out!

Well the odd experiment that was Nancy Yoon is coming to an end..

Oh, I’d go with Quacker Factory for this one, they’re the Q’s haute couture of seasonal themed apparel!

Gasp! Pat actually used a ruler to measure the length of a pair of earrings on Susan’s show!:flushed_face::flushed_face:

I’m not surprised at Nancy’s departure (whether it’s her choice or the Q’s.)

It just seemed like the wrong job for her and she never hit her stride or found her niche.

It’s a nice picture of her, very attractive. I can see her anchoring some local newscast.

   Always liked Nancy, and sorry to hear that she is leaving, but you certainly can’t blame her. Nancy was hired during a period when diversity had once again become a popular issue, and the Q hired her to fill the gap, then seemed to let her flounder and find her own way. Once she filled that gap, QVC no longer took interest in developing her as a host. Who was actually her mentor? And meanwhile, attention was lavished upon the other QVC “designated favorites.” Nancy was very active working among the Asian community in L.A., and made a name for herself as a genuinely kind and caring person who was always there to help. I’m certain she’ll be happy to return home, and will do quite well . I wish her the best.

Nancy’s mentor was Jennifer.

I’ll leave it at that.

I also liked Nancy and wish her well.

Her hair looks nice one day, and then the next it looks godawful. WHY DOES SHE CHANGE IT SO OFTEN. And who tells her this looks good, or doesn’t tell her it looks bad?
