Is Rick morphing into Dan Wheeler?
Looks like our Home Depot clearance tree will have to do for another year. The supposed sale prices on these trees⦠![]()
Talk about commercialism taking the joy out of Christmas! And lucky us, weāre subjected to it for TWO months in summer. We also have the option of tuning out, which is what Iām choosing to do.
Maybe I should keep watching⦠the more I watch, the more I realize how much I DONāT need!
I just bought a new Christmas tree from Balsam Hills during their July sale. Still expensive, but very pretty and well built. I used to like Bethlehem Lights trees, but the quality has really gone down more and more each year. I have been using my Bethlehem Lights wreath for about 10 years. It looks so much nicer than the one they had āon saleā earlier this week.
going over there to see what crap is being sold for the TSV

Tuned into Leahās AM fashion show this morning just in time for yet another Barefoot Dreams presentation. IMO QVC customers have been duped by the hosts into thinking this stuff is something special, warranting the high prices. About 5-6 years ago I bought a BD TSV - 3 of them, actually - for myself and for gifts. It just wasnāt that special. I just found my cardigan buried in a Space Bag that I hadnāt unsealed in a few years and put it in my garage sale pile. I have 2 friends who found something similar on Amazon for 1/4 the cost.
I have never purchased anything from that line. It all looks like sweats and leisure wear, which is fine, but not for that price. I loved how they said that you can dress it up or down. It doesnāt matter if you wear heels with it - it is still sweatpants!
I just cruised by the Q and Gravuh is selling a sweater that looks like a bunch of crochet flowers joined together. This hideous thing can be yours today on sale for the low, low price of $88.98 (plus S&H), originally priced at $108. Click.
And she had the nerve to call the black and white one āchicā. ![]()

I donāt think the pants look bad, but that jacket is too short on all of the models. Both channels this morning had silly short jackets. I donāt know if it is this one or the other that had a complete double-breasted look. One was by Jennie Garth (and it looked fine on her) and the other one was Jaclyn Smith, I think. Or Guiliana. Either way, they were too short. Jaclyn Smith did have a beautiful front button sweater jacket that was really classic. If I was still working, I would have gotten that one. It looked great on Jaclyn, but not on the host. It was too short and I donāt think she could have buttoned it if her life depended on it.
Regarding Barefoot Dreams Iāve seen their cardigans at the thrift and they do NOT age well. The pile becomes tighter as it is put in the washer and dryer, not looking fluffy like when you first buy them. Unlike a classic 100% cotton button down shirt, which will stay in original condition as long as itās cared for properly. I got gifted three of their baby blankets for each one of my kids, they were nice for what they were.
But I wouldnāt invest what price they are asking.
Has anyone ever figured out where Nancy Yoon has been? She periodically pops up for a show or two, then disappears for weeks.
Thatās probably why itās $ 50. Because you have to pay two hosts and two models. I believe the guy in the middle is the designer ? Lawrence Zarian, I think his name is ?
I bought a BD cardigan on Poshmark for like $30, was just curious what all the hype was about. I donāt like it, the arms are very tight and it kind of feels scratchy, I wear it around the house when I am cold.
Ready for a day

Yeah, going back to 1985 will solve and save everything.
