I checked out the reviews. The bottles are really pretty, but the reviews are not good at all. Most of the reviews commented on the women-owned business, which is not a reason for me to buy anything, especially if it doesn’t taste good.

Update on that Calista wave thingie I bought on eBay for half price: It was brand new in the box, I tried it and am IN LOVE with it. Puts just enough bend in my hair to make things interesting and looks more natural than what the models on QVC were doing. Also it came much quicker than it would have if I ordered it from the Q.

For running shoes, at least, it’s about miles not months. I remain unconvinced that Jane, for example, logs many miles on any of her shoes in every color and style.
And I’m really not sure how anyone with even a shred of integrity can look themselves in the mirror and be satisfied after telling a vulnerable “audience” that sneakers need to be replaced every three months, let alone give potentially harmful medical advice.

It has to be someone’s responsibility to make certain that the on air talent, in whatever form that may be, understands the basic terms of the products they’re selling. That said, I don’t know how old Monifa is, but if she isn’t 50 she’s staring down the barrel of it, and I would think someone that age would know that word is not pronounced as sur-plus!
