I like the colors they use, and that kind of preppy look they are using I think that appeals to people
not as frumpy as DC and Graver which could be more work oriented
That said the prices are high for what you get
If I were Kim and her sister I would be working all the hours they want as it could all be over as tastes change

Your hair is beautiful @ParadeofRoses. I inherited very fine, thin hair and I sort of envy people who actually have enough hair to style (my mother and my aunts were nearly bald at the end of their lives.) It usually doesn’t bother me too much since I loved my aunts and my mother, and genetic traits are just part of life, but I really do sometimes get disgusted by Skunky. She actually has really nice hair, but doesn’t appreciate what she has. She goes out of her way to make her hair look as bad as it can possibly be. I also kind of cringe when I’m at the salon and watch the hairdresser sweep up more hair from the floor than I have on my head, but such is life. On the bright side, my hair doesn’t make me hot in the summer. And my hair actually looks better than a lot of the models on the Q after Scissorhands is finished with them.

QVC Order rep: “And which pattern can we send to you Miss Givings?”
Me: “The one least likely to trigger a seizure.”

Oh wow! I canceled my QVC order and sent an offer for $25 with free ship to an eBay seller. Hopefully it works in my favor

Thank you @EEF , @CalicoKitty and @JustPlainNutz . I haven’t been to the hair dressers for years I’m just dang too cheap and think I can do it better.
@EEF I know you suffer from genetic hair loss but for me I use this rosemary mint hair oil on my scalp on the days I wash my hair. I leave it on a couple hours before washing I’m on my 3rd bottle and I notice I have much less shedding than when I was in my 40’s. I also stopped coloring and that probably helped my scalp be less reactive.
I use that oil as well. I have several friends who use Nutrafol or Viviscal supplements. If you aren’t vegan/vegetarian, those actually seem to help. I use the Andrew Lessman Hair/Skin/Nails supplements.(I realize that the capsules are made of gelatin…but I’m not sure what else to do to change that). Nutrafol is kind of expensive, Viviscal is not. I find good deals on the Lessman vitamins on Amazon.
I had noticeable shedding and thinning when my daughter had a double mastectomy. Most of that hair grew back. Then I lost a lot again during the pandemic (I was teaching 5th grade - first only online, then at school with a “live” group while I was streaming to my students who chose to stay at home). Yep, both at the same time! I swear that was also when I got about 75% of my silver hair…

I’ve found a lot of QVC clothing for pennys on the $$ from eBay. But never thought to look for hair appliances. I’m so glad I learned that’s because I got the styler for $27 and free ship where QVC I paid $58’plus shipping. Luckily I could cancel the QVC order!
