This morbid justification for over-spending irks me to no end. If you’ve ever dealt with a hoarder, it’s one of their first defenses. You MUST buy this NOW because not only is it on “sale,” but you could DIE at any moment! 
Not speaking for others, but I’d be more disappointed with dying than missing out on a cheap bra.

I posted this on the other thread, too, but Blabs came on and was going on about how her thighs get chafed from all that marathon running, and these life-saving TSVs have saved her from bleeding through her clothes from all the chafing.
