At the very least lose the under-eye liner. Softening the upper eyeliner to a brown would be helpful too.
I say this as a woman as old as Jane ā that dark stuff is not our friend.

@Crazy_JT Iām sure Gramma Blabs has already purchased many Lexi Marigolds for the sweet girl along with podiatrist recommended ones so she doesnāt inherit Gramma Blabs bad toes from her years as a dancer and runner.

I love the term āGramma Blabs.ā I guess it will be her job to inspect all of her grand bestieās shoes, like Janeās Italian grandfather who was a shoemaker dontcha know.

I am having a momentary lapse of snarkiness and am feeling sorry for Blabs. She tries harder (yes, wayyyyy toooooo hard) to wear the horrible fashions (using the term very loosely) than any other host, but they are just not right for her body type. Not at all. We have seen clothes that actually flatter her, but 99% of the time, they make her look horrible. What is she supposed to do? She canāt change her body at this point, She is short and large (larger than a small, come on) and even the petite length clothes look really really bad on her. That should also show the vendors that their clothes are not good for some people and they should address that. The horizontal stripes, the LARGE patterns, etc. I am speaking as someone who has spent the majority of my life being short and fat. It IS hard to find clothes unless you have a lot of money to customize them. I remember my mom having to hire a seamstress before I went to college to make me some decent clothes.
But, she does do a good job of pretending that these clothes make her happy. I just donāt believe it. And when we see pics on her FB or SM pages, she does appear to wear clothes that look like they came from QVC.
I do feel bad for her that she must be so desperate to keep her job during these times. Because of her āteam playerā behavior, I also think she will be the last to exit the building. I donāt think they will fire her, despite the many complaints and how many people turn the channel whenever they see her. She must be selling something.

People here may refuse to believe it, but she clearly is responsible for moving a crap ton of merchandise or she wouldnāt still have a job. Not because she talks too much and not because she mentions her daughters too much, but because sheās an expensive employee! Sheās been there over 30 years and they are the expensive ones. If theyāre still there itās because theyāre producing. Get over it already. Hey she drives me nuts too. I fix it by not watching.

See, I think Blabby just plain loves her job-loves being on camera, twirling around, (re)telling her stories, pawing the OAPās and models, etc. If sheās ādesperateā, itās because she wouldnāt know what to do with herself in retirement- there are just so many times you can do whatever it is she does at Disneyworld; then what??

@RetiredAtLast, youāve raised some good points. Yes, the clothing vendors should put more effort into offering fashions that look good on short, plus size women - and if they did Blabs would excel at modeling them. And yes, she tries to be a good team player by wearing QVC offerings that look monstrous on her. But there are two problems with this:
- Blabby is delusional about her true size and persists in squeezing into clothes that are one or two sizes too small. if she would choose the size that fits her better and isnāt tight, the clothes would look less bad on her.
- By modeling unflattering fashions in the wrong size, she actually discourages sales. Iāll bet that hundreds of short, plumpish women seeing Jane dressed thusly think āWhoa, if she looks that bad in that outfit so would I!ā And then they donāt buy.
The Qās plus size models, like Morgan and Jamie, prove that large size ladies can look decent in the clothes they sell (although some items are so ugly they should go straight to a dumpster). But Blabs could do a better job choosing which items she models. For instance, if a shirt comes in striped and solid versions, sheād be better off wearing the solid.

I too think Jane loves her job. She is always high energy and portrays happiness. Her intensity is always a Level 10!
Contrast with David, who seems to be phoning it in more and more. I donāt think he loves his job. He may like it very much.
Both drive me nuts in their way. I honestly try to not watch either of them, but I do tune in to Jane sometimes, if only to marvel at her unwavering enthusiasmā¦and to pick up some Snark material.
