There was once a plus size model who thought she was the shit. She’d flirt at the camera acting all provocative. I think she had red hair. Its like lady, most of your audience are female. Then there’s good old Lumberjackie with the thin stringy hair and her clomping style of walking.

The designer show, to me, was embarrassing. Trying to emulate the high fashion atelier shows of fashion week was a fail. Some of the “clients” or guests looked way underdressed, except for a very few. Some looked like they were dressed for grocery shopping. Then the models. Of course Kate and Katia brought the professional model style, but the rest, well … I felt they should just stop trying to be what they’re not.

@PearlClutcher , I remember that plus size model. I had the same impression of her. Then I read that she had come to New York to take care of her mother, so that changed my opinion of her. FWIW

From Facebookphotos of the NYC “runway show” (in a hotel banquet hall?), it looked like the hosts, vendors, and models were having a good time, whether we enjoyed it or not. . I did catch a little of Amy’s show and it looked like she was trying to herd the cats ….

This is the first time I’ve seen this, but Q sells box wine? Yeah, they’ve probably been doing it for years, but I avoid the food shows because it’s all over-priced nonsense, and I typically dislike the hosts that do the show. Do you get a coupon option for cat food with your box of wine, too? I know, stereotypes and all, but if the wine comes out of a box, it seems trashy (even if you put it in a fine pine box).

Actually, there are many premium wines that come in a box. Black Box and Bota Box are premium box wines that comes to mind. If you are having a group occasion, boxed wine prices out better than bottles. I have no experience with what the Q is selling, but boxed wine is not inherently cheepo wine. It just costs less because of the packaging.

artisto I don’t know if I will buy one but I think it is a decent looking belt and what I really like is the no holes approach. Stick the end of the belt wherever you want lol. I do worry the belt is too stretched out from the get go. I’d have to look at that. But, this summer I needed a white belt and the least expensive one I could find on Amazon (QVC had none) was $9.99. so this price of $19.99 for two seems good.
