David has said that he is their mentor, as he was with Steve, Rosina and Julia. I believe they started this after Stacy Stauffer was let go.
It started before Stacy. Mary D was Davidās first sidekick, then they gave her her own kitchen show on Q2 and now sheās one of the regulars on the main channel.
@ParadeofRoses
I wonāt go into San Francisco at all.
Too many smash and grabs, needles on the street, homeless. Just last week a rookie starter for San Francisco 49ers was shot and his Rolex was stolen while he was shopping.
Unless you work in the Financial District or near the Ferry building no place is safe.
I used to live north of SF and as a kid I loved seeing the GG bridge and going through the tunnel and seeing that beautiful city! Night or day, it was something.
I saw that online poor rookie - carted off in an ambulance, terrible. Thatās exactly where my daughter works - as the youngsters call it Fi-Di. Someday the city and this damn state will come back- I have faith.
I admire your positivity. I left.
- Rachel looks fab in the wine KG jacket
- not good, Kim stealing the dream jeannes story, her mother never worn jeans until she asks Kim to make some pajama jeans type pants
eta sorry about the sloppy typing. The iPad doesnāt work great here
Youāre right, Mary and Stacey were both Divaās sidekicks, but my point was, after Stacey left, the newbies with him were then officially called his mentees. Mary was actually an associate producer of ITKWD, and he would chat with her in the producerās booth, gradually gave her more airtime until she became a regular. I remember when she announced that she was going into host training.
@CalicoKitty I understand why. I am seriously considering moving in a few years myself.
I think the Kim Gravel TSV was a bust. āOver thereā, they really panned it. The producers must read the TSV forum comments because all the concerns were addressed repeatedly. During the last presentation, host said they sold 26,000. Iām surprised it was that much, but her TSV s are (I think) usually twice that volume. Buckle in, ladies, I think we be seeinā those mixed media horrors for a long time to comeā¦
i did notice that the awful plaid 70ās take on a jacket got one airing
I think the 2 different materials in the pants were a turn off
and itās way to cut costs imo
I donāt care for ponte at all
the colors were nice
I wouldnāt wear leather or faux-leather pants. They look sweaty and I know I donāt have the body for them.
But I dislike the half-cloth, half-faux/leather look immensely. QVC does it with some tall boots, too. ![]()

I had not realized how much day to day stress I was under until I moved. Fewer things to worry about.
The size XS & XXS show
hosts would do well to remember that thin, faux leather will only stretch so far before it rips and tears like a cheap trash bag.
Peek-a-Boo ā¦
Wouldnāt faux leather pants be hot? Even with a different fabric on the back? I doubt they would be comfortable for any length of time.
Gravers neck ewwwww ![]()

Iām old and live on the surface of the sun and my neck doesnāt look like itās melting.
I agree, her neck is gross.
