MY HG hairspray for many years has been Nick Chavez Advanced Volume. Sadly, it appears all of his products are no longer available since his passing. I’m down to the last of my last bottle of it and now forced to find something else. I did check eBay but the one bottle I found was grossly overpriced and I refuse to accommodate someone’s greed in taking advantage of those who really want that product. Any recommendations for a hairspray that doesn’t have a strong odor, firm hold but you can comb through it easily and has some volumizing properties? Thanks for any suggestions.
I tried on some “barrel” style pants yesterday at Old Navy, just to see. The jeans were too heavy and stiff; unattractive on me. If the twill pair would soften up in the wash, I would consider them, but they too were pretty stiff. Both were very comfortable and just the right length for my 5’3” body. (Just got measured at doctor’s office— have shrunk 3/4 inch!)

I like Mally pencil eyeliners and was running low so I ordered this eye kit set of 10 items. It comes with 4 eye liners, 4 eye shadow sticks and 2 mascaras for $26.98. It’s not too bad of a deal. I’ve never tried her eye shadows or mascara. I do know her eyeliners don’t smudge - at least for me.

I just got a pair of Antthony executive stretch cropped pants from HSN and they’re fantastic. It’s like air conditioning for your legs. They’re gonna be great for the summer - super cooling and stretchy and the black and white gingham is really cute.

I got my Calista waver tool. I forgot who mentioned to look on eBay and that’s where I got it for $29.99 with free ship. Way less than QVC. It came in perfectly new condition and works like a charm- giving mermaid waves.

Thank you for the eBay recommendation @GeeGee !! I find it amazing that this iron gives a shine to the waves - I have natural texture hair and it is frizzy and definitely not shiny.
it is easy to do the back of the head with that iron
I’m considering getting one of these, but my hair is quite a bit shorter than yours, I just had it cut to about the middle of my neck with some layers in back. (they’re long longer layers), but I wonder if you think it would work for me at that length. Tia

I have had good experience with these tops and tanks from Christopher & Banks. Good basics. They also have 3/4 and short sleeve satin- trim tees that I like.

Those are really nice tanks, in an assortment of colors for a great price. I love having a wardrobe of tanks to choose from.
