OMG, is she ignorant or what? A big head (metaphorically) is body shaming now? She’s truly laughable and pitiful at the same time. @Tuxedo Im so glad you shared this as i thought i was the only one she kept picking at.
@PearlClutcher I had no idea it was happening to so many. Sorry you had to experience it too. Good riddance to bad rubbish!
I was initially bummed about the old forum’s demise but this new forum feels so much lighter already. Funny how being free of an evil, dumbass “princess” can do that!
seems like everyone was called out for some infraction
Years ago, there was a male poster(I assumed male) who was a misogynist…
It got so bad…I broke the “cardinal rule” of not “attacking” other posters…
I told him that he was misogynist…
I got a warning…
Who cares…I gladly accept that warning point…
He wasn’t on the forum after that(not sure if it was immediate)…
It seems the Princess reprimanded everyone. I bet it made her day.
And this from the "“No compassion What-so-ever” file…
Carnival Corp laments up to a $10M hit from Baltimore bridge collapse…
They make this announcement with some bodies of the dead still in the water…
Greed/money takes presidence…sorry to say…
REPULISIVE! I hope people boycott them …I would but I don’t CRUISE.
Keep in mind that their annual profits are estimated at 5.6 BILLION. So 10 million is not huge to them.
It appears that they value $$ over life…
Very bad taste for them to boo hoo about money
while dead men are under water…
In their defense, this was noted during a scheduled 1st quarter earnings meeting with investors. Their CEO has to be transparent with their stockholders about earnings and expected changes. I don’t think they meant any disrespect.
I live about an hour and a half from Baltimore. Very tragic story.
I got my fingers smacked from her for saying greasy Marin needed to wear a bra. Her bazonkas were hanging down half out of her dress, how’s that body shaming? I questioned it and of course never got a response. Glad to be outta there, I get yelled at enough in the real world, I don’t need to get it virtually.
Yeah, she was completely off the rails and irrational. She had NO sense of humor, which one would think is required to moderate a snark forum. She didn’t seem to appreciate irony or sarcasm at all.
Happy Easter to those who celebrate!
Thank you.
Happy Easter!
Hello all. Just for fun I tracked the TSV’s from 4/1/23 to 3/31/24. Denim & Co 12, Gravel 12, Dyson 9, Graver 9, Rastelli 8, Shark 8, Apple 7, and Barefoot Dreams 7. That’s the top 8 counting 72 total TSV’s. That means on average 6 days of every month had one of those as the TSV. There were 167 total companies represented in the 366 day year.
Welcome, @SunnyJim, and, wow, thanks for those stats! I would have guessed that only about 80–100 companies were represented, as it really does feel like the same few brands are on offer as TSVs.
I’ve been away from the TV to visit my parents a few days this week. I did a Q check earlier and saw Sandra presenting a vacuum cleaner brand I’ve never heard of—just what Q needed to add to the inventory—another vacuum!
Anyway, wish you were here to help us eat some of these chocolate chip cookies and banana muffins we made earlier.
