I have a few of Anthony’s pieces and always get compliments. He is a very kind and dear man and it makes me mad to see how the big companies jerk their vendors around. Didn’t QVC do the same thing with Louis Del ‘olio (spelling)? I think there was another one, too, who didn’t get a contract.

Are you talking about George Simonton? He had a well made line of clothes on QVC and was so knowledgeable and explained everything so well. He also taught at FIT and was a very nice man.

Both George Simonton and Louis Del’olio (sp?) were designers who sold items on QVC.
I loved both of those lines! Those were very classy and well-tailored lines. Nothing like that seems to exist anymore. I guess I doesn’t matter since I am retired, but I did like those designers.

JC Penney’s carried Anthony Mark Hankins designs many years ago. I was not a fan of his clothing on HSN. He is a real fashion designer though and has a following. I always liked him, upbeat and funny.

Looks like another host is back as a brand ambassador. This time it’s Valerie and she’s now with Perlier. These hosts can never stay away once they “leave” 
Personally, I don’t think Valerie “left” so much as she didn’t want to uproot and move to Pennsylvania.
Of course, we don’t know the truth. But I think that a gig like this with occasional trips to Studio Park rather than a full move could be very, very nice. Her husband may have needed to remain in Florida for all we know.
Just my viewpoint.

I’m just gonna say it. I like this host I’ve watched a few times. Elysia Wren. QVC…. PLEASE FIRE Shawn and move her into her spot. She has a bit of British class and is not a goof. Not creeping on her… but she a BABE.

I read the complaint that Antthony and his company filed. Pretty interesting: he’s even calling out some racial profiling and discrimination.
The best thing about a trial, if it gets there, is that a lot of dirty laundry will get aired!

Between QVC and HSN, they must sell 20+ types of cordless vacuums, no corded vacuums. Maybe they’re cheaper to import (lightweight) and had a surplus?
These days, they’re the Kim Gravel Channel and the Vacuum Channel. At least one is trying to be professional. People here rarely make fun of HSN hosts because they don’t act like fools.

I don’t know who’s on ShuShop right now. The woman standing on the left just described a brown as “expresso-y” and I wanted to throw my TV out the window. Fingernails on a chalkboard to me. Espresso. eSpresso. ESSSSSSpresso!

Amazing how one’s perspective can change. I always used to think Bobbie Ray was painfully thin. Compared to today’s GLP-1 celebrity cadavers, she looks positively robustly healthy!

I THINK her retirement is this month - she is just going to be on through then and then she will be gone. Until/unless she comes back like the QVC hosts always seem to do.

Yes, her retirement “event” is this month. I briefly saw an ad for it while surfing through HSN so I didn’t pay attention to the date.
