Not sure who the host was on Clarks last night, but she was very pleasant IMO! Nothing to snark about, but it’s such a shock to have a halfway normal host on air. Only issue was the one “shtretch” Clark rep… fingernails on a chalkboard every time she said it.
Did this weirdo lady just tell the audience to use the balm on your vulva or “other lips”. What a nasty thing to be discussing during the dinner hour here on the west coast.
At least neither Mally or Skunk offered to demonstrate, although I am sure they would. And this isn’t even Menopause Monday! So glad I missed that. Sorry you didn’t.
Watched HSN a little while this afternoon to catch a jewelry show with Jay King and Debbie Denmon. Jay brought out a Chilean turquoise necklace and Debbie kept calling it “Chilean sea bass.”
After she said “sea bass” several times, Jay turned to her and said, “Uh, Debbie? You know this is a necklace and not seafood, right?” Debbie gasped and they both had a good laugh. I was laughing too.
Can you imagine if that had been Shawn with Jay instead of Debbie?
I always said HSN had great prices with free s&h which QVC never had. That said, their sets were always so minimal and bare where QVC would go all out. Also, HSN had some good host (especially the men) whereas QVC’s host were and are so snark worthy which made it more fun to watch. I still miss Guy Yovan from HSN. He didn’t want to make to make the move to West Chester. He was sort of the Rick Domier of HSN. He was super good looking, funny and very knowledgeable. Also, he let his hair go go gray where Rick um, hasn’t gone natural. LOL!!!
Hopefully, a lot of the HSN people are renting. They must have known a move to West Chester isn’t what they wanted long term. Frankly, I’ve been watching HSN here and there for years but I never became fully invested in the host(s). I really only knew a few of them by name. Like, Coleen Lopez who was their Kathy Levine. Although, I think Coleen had been doing it for much longer.
