But wondering if they will cull the newer, lower-salaried people

I noticed there was no video chat with Diva this morning. Maybe the morning chats with his ladies don’t convert to sales, which is why they maybe aired a show from his dressing room last night?

If I was David, I’d probably be negotiating my exit amidst the current circumstances.
There is probably no upside for him if he stays to the bitter end. I can’t imagine there’s a pension at play, and if there is, could he trust it would be honored?
He’s obviously tired, phoning it in. He’s gained most if not all of the weight back. Is this the way to spend what’s left of his health(ier) years?

I just checked, he did do his Coffee Talk on FB this morning. I didn’t watch, but I might go back to see if he references that shit show from last night, or QVC’s financial woes,

I don’t think that QVC had a traditional, defined benefit pension plan.
But they definitely have a 401k. If Diva and others with his tenure contributed for 30 years (invested wisely), they have a nice nest egg.
Being let-go can involve a plentiful severance package also, so it could be beneficial to hang out through the end. I’ve received several really nice “separation” packages in my industry.

I haven’t watched in a while, but, WOW does David look horrible. Maybe “Little David” is his version of those stupid squirrels Caro used to have that many of their ladies claim to love? I think that the hosts telling people that they will not going anywhere is the HQ response to reassure people to continue shopping before they go under. The change from 5 to 2 easy pays says it all. And they must be aware of the threads on their forum site with the stock and financial info. I am actually surprised that the mods don’t remove those threads, but they haven’t.

Regardless of how crappy his show has become, I feel terrible for David. You can see the stress in his appearance. He probably invested more than other hosts and is still worried!

David is truly a DEDICATED employee who has remained staunchly loyal to QVC , despite their descent into madness. His fan base is both huge & loyal. Sadly, to so many companies that exist today, the philosophy it that we hired YOU to replace someone, and we can easily find someone in line to replace you. Loyalty is no longer an asset that is appreciated and rewarded.

I don’t watch QVC too often, but I do usually watch the Sunday ITKWD, at least parts of it. I am not as annoyed by him as many of you are, but it does make me sad to see his decline. I hope he is able to leave soon and enjoy his life. He is one I don’t anticipate we will see again once he retires. Same with Rick. It seems like it is the female hosts who have the hardest time letting go. Well, let me amend that - the hosts with happy home lives will just retire and enjoy life. I don’t see that ever for Blabs, Skunk, Kercrotch, or JCon.

I noticed that 2 easy pays thing the other day! I thought that was new. I have seen 3 instead of 5 for lower priced items but never 2.
