It will be Christmas again tonight for La Diva.

The LocknLock TSV has 11 colors to countdown and waddle carry offset if sold out!

Very Special indeed.

Why doesn’t he cook anything now? Was that his choice or QVC’s? Or is it a carryover from the pandemic? IDK because I don’t ever watch his shows - only catch the beginning or very end. But I do see his ad where he talks about not being a chef, being a “home cook,” and that’s why viewers connect with him. Maybe he would do better if he had something to actually do instead of just stand there and recite colors.

Maybe because the strategy now is to have OAPs for every single damn product, or two hosts, there is no reason for David to do the cooking? Although, in the past, he mostly just put things together and stirred, that may be due to the time. The Le Crueset OAP cooks, GZ cooks, Carla Hall cooks, but mostly they just throw things in a pan and stir.

It seemed to me that he used to love to make his recipes for entertaining, etc. although those WERE just open cans and mix it up, per his cookbooks. He used to make appetizers and things like that. Or, theory #2 is that since he made the big deal about low carb living and he has gained a lot back, he doesn’t really know what to cook anymore. When he does give his insights about using sweet potatoes or whole wheat pasta, they showed how little he knew about the whole low carb diet and maybe he got too many responses that he figures he can just dial it in until he disappears.

Good ideas, but I think that it started when they eliminated Cooks Essentials. Meredith Laurence was then the only real chef and presented those large sets of pots and pans.

She would have 3 or 4 things cooking on different burners real time, explaining what she was doing in each.

I don’t think they even have a real stove anymore!

she was great, but maybe those demos don’t help to sell

….I purchased Meredith Laurence’s hammered stainless steel cookware. It is beautiful and cooks like a dream. Love her!

I bought her knives and they’re really nice as long as I sharpen them regularly.

He looks so sad, like someone told him he’s no longer allowed to tap and name colors.

Hot cocoa, huh. When I have that expression, there’ll be more in the mug than just hot cocoa if you know what I’m sayin.
