Is she five and writing a letter to Santa??? This is gonna be a disaster… perhaps she’ll ask him if he wants to appear on her over 50 and fab no holding back podcast…
I am a HUGE Elton John fan. Have been since the 70’s. I know that he has a reputation for being THE QUEEN BEE and I am certain that if Shawn throws even a whiff of annoyance his way he will shut her down and banish her from his presence.
I am sure this candle collab is to raise funds for his EJAF charity, which seems to be one of his primary pursuits these days. That and mentoring young up and coming musicians.
He’s been through cancer treatment, hip replacement and several falls in recent years. He is likely (rightfully) tired and has precious little time for nonsense. Take note, Shawn.

When I was in college, I was dating one of the campus DJs who interviewed Sir Elton (not a Sir yet). I just remember when he walked by me, he stopped and told me he liked my purse! And, one of the other radio guys asked him what he thought of Steve Allen as a piano player. We still give him a hard time about that to this day!

I saw Elton John in concert in the 70’s. It was a great concert. Big fan since the 70’s. But not interested in the candles. I do hope she is well behaved, because it might be interesting to watch Elton, but I can’t stand her most days.

So, they’ll be presenting from Elton’s home ? That is a big deal. For QVC ! Still don’t understand why they are sending Skunky over there. Why doesn’t one of the QVC UK hosts do it ?
I hope she at least showers and washes her hair. Don’t want to leave a stain on Elton’s couch.

I love Elton too. We saw him at the Hollywood bowl years ago. I wonder if she will complain to him about her hemorrhoids acting up with a long flight time. She will complain about something I’m sure.

Who came up with the idea that this was going to be a “Candles for Charity” event? No matter how much money some people have, it’s never enough, they’re always looking for more to line their pockets. Doesn’t surprise me that these two “Special Friends” are beginning a new life adventure together.
Bath & BodyWorks and Goose Creek $10.99 candles on sale work just fine for me!
