Another case of “WHAT NOT TO WEAR”

Geeeezee! Does this woman ever get tired of embarrassing herself and looking like a complete disaster?

Jane needs to work behind the camera. She looks like she has given up. The clothing, the hair, the weight gain? She just is hard to look at how much she changed. Never mind the gushing about those daughters of hers. Retire Jane. Give us all a break.

Retirement would be a win/win for everyone. We wouldn’t have to put up with the incessant blabbing and all the rest. And Jane would have loads more time to spend with the daughters, especially Florida Blabbette.

Watching Mary Beth makes me sad.

It seems that her new hairstyle incorporates the popular “bang” in order to stay young and relevant.

Forever Young! I Want to be Forever Young!

Speaking of which, whatever happened to Diane Young? I vaguely remember her on QVC selling her skincare brand with proprietary coneflower extract. Marybeth was such a fan at the time.

I remember Diane Young’s coneflower cream. I loved it, but didn’t buy it very often because it was so expensive. I couldn’t find any current information about Diane or her company. She must have retired, or something, and shut everything down.

I’m not sure if I ever bought anything from Diane Young’s line. Marybeth seemed to host a lot with her and would say she used a lot of the products, especially the neck cream… Which of course MaryBeth swore by at the time (I guess before she started swearing by Perricone🙄)

I will say I liked Diane’s tagline, “Smile. It lifts your whole face up.”

I was another fan of Diane Young’s coneflower neck cream. One time years ago when I was in NYC, I actually went to her shop/spa to buy some products. I don’t remember the exact address, but it was in the Upper East Side in a lovely building.

Now…I’m an old tykette and still wear bangs…

Why is sMothered by Pixiedust turning into anything but a forum about Jane Treacy. I a little curious and disappointed. Just saying

I think sMothered by Pixiedust is supposed to be a Jane thread. There are other threads for other hosts and topics.

sMothered was a TLC show about mothers and daughters who are weirdly close

During recent Shoe Shopping show, Jane was telling a story about being in NY with oldest daughter who at the time was in grade school and there for her first theater audition. Yikes. I didn’t realize Jane had pushed her daughters into theater. There may be some young children who on their own want to be performers at a young age, but I think they get the idea from their parents. It’s also a little sad that if she’s been trying since grade school with only minor community theater success yet still pursues it. Maybe I’m way off on this.

Jane also mentioned on Tuesday that her husband was in Florida. And that she was going the next day. Seems like Florida daughter needs lots of supervision. Or at least parents think so.

jmpo: Jane should keep all mentions of the daughter off SM and TV, reading between the lines maybe there is something, :pensive:

@artisto I like bangs, too. I had them for years until my hair in front got weird, uneven thickness, and too wispy. Sigh. I felt prettier and “softer” in the face with bangs. I really do not like my forehead.

I like the bangs you pictured, but would never wear them as they’d bug me being in my eyes. lol

I pulled up a video on Q2 today with another hideous denim jacket, this time from Women With Control. It was an older video with the Blab hosting. I don’t think I’ve seen her in this outfit before, and I hope I never see it again. Of course, she had to Elvis the collar. Yeah, that helped.

Lucky for her she has multiples of everything to keep an entire wardrobe in her daughter’s guest closet…

Well thankfully Jane’s daughter was able to make it to the Over 50 party in Vegas!
