After seeing this ad on TV, I am now convinced that TPTB do not care anything about their viewers. Why would a company allow a person that actually can look good show up every day for work looking like a slob and acting like a 10-year-old with no manners. I find this rather offensive to the Q viewers.

OK, so it’s not just me! They are interesting for about 10 seconds and then it hits how dumb they are. How do you store them? Are the toppers supposed to keep the beverage cold or hot? What a pain. They will sell out for sure, though. Think of all those happy teachers when they get these. And the mail people. Not to mention your hair dresser, etc.

Evidently the info says NOT to use the toppers to keep a beverage hot! (From “over there;” I haven’t watched a presentation or read the info. How dumb is that? That’s the only reason I would want them.

I think a stroopwafel works better 
It’s a Dutch sweet treat for those unfamiliar. Caramel sandwich cookie type thing. You put it on top of your cup of hot coffee or tea and it warms it up a bit which makes it even yummier.

Will those topper thingies explode if you put them on top of your hot coffee or tea? I thought their purpose was to keep your beverages warm?

Generally, yes, a mug topper keeps the temps of your beverage warm or cold, but these specifically say DO NOT USE when there is a beverage. How asinine was that design???
And I can get low sugar/carb stoopwafels from Amazon. Not as yummy, of course.

Lovers of Temptations should be far more concerned about what materials are used in the bright, shiny paint that creates those outrageous patterns on those lovely Chinese imports. We certainly wouldn’t want a QVC scandal!

My company has an office in the Netherlands. Whenever anyone goes they get requests to bring back stroopwafels. They taste better when they’re from the home country LOL
Not too many years ago they were hard to find around here (Chicago area) except in the world market type stores.

@crazy_JT I was born and raised in The Netherlands, lived in Amsterdam. I came to the U.S. in 1966, yes I am old. I must be one of the few people that doesn’t like stroopwafels, there are so many better cookies. Now bring me back some good licorice (drop), then we’re talking.

Just saw on QVC’s home page that they donated $50,000 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation to support their mission to providing breast health education, early detection services and a helping hand to those facing breast cancer.

Last night, while presenting the Tempty mugs with snow globe toppers, Blabs said these toppers are great for keeping your tea and cocoa warm. Tara quickly jumped in and said no, you can only put them on room temperature things like snacks. Jane got a totally confused look on her face and quickly moved on. How many people are buying those thinking that’s what those toppers are for? I know that’s what I thought when I first saw them. I see a backlash in QVC and Tara’s future as these snow globes start cracking and breaking from heat.
