#1 problem :excess and unsellable inventory
To hear Susan Graver, LOGO, Renee G, etc. tell it, they are constantly coming up with new and innovative ideas for customers. ![]()
What was with Lori Gâs incessant use of the word âperfectâ to describe the jeans that were being presented?
Logo Lori claims everything she puts her name on is âamaaaazingâ or âperfectâ. Every time I (very briefly) stop to look at one of her presentations, sheâs showing the same stuff. Actually, all the shows are mostly long sleeved tees and spandex-heavy elastic waist pants. I guess at least Lori includes some of her god awful âgorgeousâ lace trimmed junk and weirdly seamed/patchwork jeans for novelty.
You mean it didnât sell out before the end of the night?! Say it ainât so!
Havenât made it to production yet ![]()
Two Words ⌠LANDS END ⌠Whether youâre choosing from their line of tried & true classics, or from their yearly new & updated styles, youâll never look foolish.

Why any woman wants to make her
bigger is beyond me
I love Lands End, and have been buying from them for at least 40 years. I still wear sweaters that I bought about 40 years ago, and they still look good. I was so disappointed with them lately when I had to return two sweaters that had a very odd shape and looked like they were covered with lint (turned out, that is how they were designed to look). They charged me $8 for the return. My other choice was driving 1 1/2 to my ânearestâ Whole Foods store. I was really shocked. Changing return policies will certainly limit my purchases. I am really sad.
Note: My mother had two striped cotton shirts that she bought from Lands End at least 50 years ago. One finally bit the dust a few years ago when I couldnât repair it any more for her, but she wore the other one until the day she died. In fact, we buried her in it. She loved that shirt. Lands End has a history of selling good quality clothing.
And I love their canvas totes. I have some I used every day while working and still going strong. I liked them better than the LL Bean ones.
Between Kevin Hartâs Draft Kings commercials, and Laura Geller and her Mature Skin Makeup ads, Iâm going to need a larger bottle of Excedrin.
I have a few Lands End v-neck relaxed tees that I love, but I think most of the colors they choose are dull or muted. They have good basics, warm coats, practical boots . I love that you can buy swimwear in different sizes for top and bottom. They have good sales. But I think most of their clothes are basic and dull. ![]()
Having said that, I just bought a LE puffie jacket at Marshallâs today for $40! (LE tag said $140.). Yay! I wanted a shorter, lightweight medium warmth jacket, with a hood. . Normally I donât find much at Marshallâs, but I lucked out today.
Oy, the Tatcha show that just started⌠the woman at the beginning with the heartwarming (ahem) story about how the geisha she met changed everything she ever thought about beauty. Yeah, OK.
And sheâs super whispery and breathy⌠just over the top dramatic. And donât forget, culture is pronounced âcoolture.â Figures Jane is hosting LOL
Well this morning we are getting our weekly song and dance routineâŚâŚ oh yes itâs already started Mary⌠D. and Gomer Gravel have returned..
Iâm so tired of fake DeAngelis. Kim Gravel is an instant channel changer for me.
Iâve gotten to the point that the instant I hear her voice Iâm grabbing for the remote. ![]()
TSV is bone broth,
Good news itâs the only TSV of this product for the year
ETA uses the same old origin story, sick fam member and product is created
Puhleeze ⌠Amy referring to her favorite flavors of bone broth as âsheâ and âherâ?
Itâs bad enough when hosts refer to clothing and accessories as living, breathing beings, but this crosses the line. Amy should be out of the building and home before midnight.
And who pays $2.00 for an 8oz cup of broth? ⌠I can make it for 2¢ per cup.

Itâs weird enough that they refer to shoes as âsheâ and âherâ⌠but at least I sorta get that. Weird, but not as weird as gendering bone broth LOL
